My latest BS issue is putting my bootable drive on the SATA3 ports. I had problems installing windows while connected to it as it would hang on expanding files. A quick swap to SATA2 ports made for a flawless installation. The problem is, it's a sata3 drive which I'd like to take advantage of. Swapping ports this morning yielded no results, windows won't even start.

I'm guessing I'm just going to have to install it again fresh and try to take note of where I can supply drivers for that adapter (that's what I think was the issue was to begin with anyways).

I was hoping just moving the plug would be it, but of course...Microsoft fail!

...!! My SSD is DOA as well... I guess this all gets extended a little longer :p

Sorry to hear of your troubles nach. Doa is unacceptable but the longer it takes the happier you'll be when it's done(probably). In other news, I had a bit of an issue last night around 3 a.m. I was tired and put the external hdd in the router usb instead of the desktop and boom Internet gone. I have fios which im not a fan of and after doing what I could from my knowledge base and my capabilities I had to call Vz. Luckily I got someone in America and after some things he said it looks like you had a power spike. My thoughts "ya...lets go with that. That's better." Mind you I have an apc battery backup set to high sensitivity on the box and it said nothing happened. He gave me a great excuse but I still think their routers are junk.

Funniest part is.... this morning I got the replacement video card. And now I find the SSD has a hardware failure. Which explains why I couldn't install windows via the SATA3 controller. I thought it was due to user error lol! So, the new video card is in, but I can't run the machine right now, so yeah... Then next week, the RAM should be in, but I'll probably still be without an SSD.

 Check out the PPD and ETA and est PPD.

When I first started this wu it was taking 2hrs per frame and still is so I don't know why my status is so screwed up. I sure wish it was true though. I've have to have a super computer for this to be true.

Chances are it'll all even out with itself or the WU will fail stating unstable machine... :(

Bite your tongue about unstable machine. :glare: But you're right...all the numbers are back to normal now, damn! It sure would have been nice to get those 6000+ points. It would have helped me get out of the 200 rank hole. :(

Have you ever seen this happen before?
