Finally figured it, got it installed, configured, and running. Took quite a bit of doing, as my install menu never prompted the Identity box. Hopefully I can get it to complete some work, not really sure how to optimize it. But considering I'm usually on my tablet while my desktop only gets used maybe 3 times a week for essays, I'm sure it'll do just fine.

Also, does choosing a cause preference affect the team's score. I put mine on Huntington's it has directly affected loved ones in my family.

Cause does not have any bearing on team rankings/score. It will just limit the type of WU's you get assigned.

Just to add to what Dusty said....you may have choosen Huntington's but you might get a few wu for other diseases if there isn't a Huntington's available. This has happened to me many times. So don't get worried if you get one for cancer. It's all helps.

Was 72% done and I realized an error in my fah folder... (directory was locked to root only access so when rebooting my startup script couldn't load the config) but anyways, i closed the client after it made a checkpoint, changed the permissions and now my startup script works - but i lost the WU... very sad day!

Next work unit is even larger. 47750000 steps...

But I've confirmed that everything works as it should now - so should be smooth sailing from this point on.

Wow. It looks pretty sweet. I had thought there was glass or plex panels in there or something - I guess not lol. Good work man!
I wonder what the beams are - they look like something you would be able to get somewhere for building all kinds of stuff....

Feels like aluminum.

And side note... seeing how "slow" my TPF is on these bigadv work units really makes me want to order two more cpu's, heatsinks, and ram sets... but i can't afford it... argh!
