Congratz Dave!!

Hotrod, I had alts that I just went at my own pace with, but I was in a raiding guild because I loved raiding...with folks I knew. Hated pugs, and really hated that they kept pushing PVP on the PVE servers. I just plain burned out :) I was one of the very few raiding frost mages that could put out dps like the fire mages ;)

I used to play WoW as well. I can't remember the name of the guild I was in but it was like a Chinese sweat shop when it came to raids. I was on Bloodhoof - played a gnome rogue (Loft, of course) combat sword spec. Long time ago...

Thanks, I see it there now. Clicking on it takes me to the Team ECF page.

So how long does it usually take to complete a unit? On full at the moment it's showing 14 hours, is that about normal? I will probably drop it down 1 notch when I'm working on the pc but for forum browsing and some youtube I'm fine running on full.

Also, just a possible stupid question, does it matter which research we select? I had opted for just any research but the thread is for cancer. Should I switch to just that on the drop down or does it matter?
Welcome Optics! You may not see anything until you complete your first work unit :) Expand your FoH client fully, you should see the team number next to your name in the middle section of your control page.

I figured you had but asked just in case. :D

Apparently preferred deadline for this is 2.4 days and there's no way I'll be able to make that running two cpu's. So... ordered the ram and heatsinks for the other two cpu's I ordered. *hopefully* i'll be able to hit the preferred deadline of the 8101 WU otherwise I'm just gonna sell this rig and move on lol

I put the *nix system in normal mode for now so it's at least generating points daily. I don't see the point in folding bigadv WU's for 22k points spread over four days where I can average that in two-three days with regular work. At least until the other two cpu's get here.

:( !!

Yep, that sounds normal. I'm only running 2 cores and some of mine are 1.5days, some 15 hours or so...depends on the WU you get. And no it doesn't matter which research you choose, pick the one that is most important to you. :)
