I've been having problems with my PC since I started folding. I've had 2 blue screens, my PC completely shutdown by itself once and today I heard a loud clicking when I was in another room. It was the processor. It was on but my monitor was shut off. I've also been noticing a lot of fan noise since I moved 2 wks ago so if I have any more problems with my PC I'm afraid I'm going to have quit FAH, at least for awhile to see if the problems go away. Damn I would hate to have to do that.

Remember every work unit helps the research - no matter how big or how small. I don't do GPU folding at all - just straight smp folding.

Just got everything setup as well, found out about this because of Optics. I don't do much anymore on my gaming PC these days so might as well put it to good use.

Finally got my first WU finished, I'm in the same boat as Sasha. My properties don't show a GPU, is there's something special i need to do to make it recognize a GPU ?

If you are running a Mac machine like I am, as far as I know FAH does not support gpu folding on them - only smp.

I had to set mine to full before it detected and enabled my GPU.

No, I'm on a HP with Windows 7. When I was doing the setup, it said no GPU found.

Well dadgum, I used to run WoW WotLK with no lag in 25 man raid because i upgraded my graphics card. So i seriously hope i can get this thing up and running. Thanks Sashwa.

shoogdadi: I run WoW MoP, Diablo 3 and Starcraft2 (not all at the same time of course!) with no issues (I run an ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT graphics card) but i choose to run smp only to save the graphics card for the game playing. (also after checking the list posted by sashwa it looks like my gpu isnt supported anyway )

Did the time-change mess anyone's WU output back to the Folding server? I logged into a couple of my PC's and noticed that there were a couple of WU's stuck in sending status with 100% complete. A reboot cleared up the stuck WU's but I think I got only 209 points for them. It also explains why my point output for Sunday was almost 1/2 of what it normally is.
