Does he like coffee? I found out quickly that I didn't care for the tobacco flavored e-juices (I was a menthol smoker). But I did like a high quality coffee juice flavor.

Copper Creek's Coffee and House Blend are excellent. (they both improve after steeping for a week)

VapeRite's Organic Double Espresso and Organic Kona Cream are also excellent, and stronger flavors to boot. Both have a coffee house aroma. Available in a sample pack, too. These also need to steep, but for just a little more they are available pre-steeped.

Maybe you should try organic flavors. They tend to be a bit pricey comparatively. I recently bought a pv mod from aqua cigs and it came with a free juice. I chose peach. Thankfully it was free because it tasted aweful, like I was puffing on chemicals. So I did some more research and saw on a forum someone had suggested vaperite. I got the kona cream and a free 3ml bottle of cake batter. For $13 I got 21ml which I don't think is a bad deal for organic vapor. The kona cream had really good reviews. I unfortunately can't tell you how it tastes because I'm trying to wait patiently for it to come in the mail. Good luck. I really hope you can find something that your husband can vape.

After smoking for 40+ years everything tastes like Flanders .... Ointment :)

If he tried tobacco flavored juice then he is looking for a cigarette flavor which he may never find since a vast majority of tobacco flavors do not come close to the taste of a burning cigarette with its 400+ different chemicals taste and the hot throat hit.

Start him off with a fruit type juice, peach/pear/apple/etc with a blend leaning toward the VG side 40/60 (PG/VG). This way he will get a fruit taste that will actually hit his taste buds and a ton of vapor. After a week or so move on to the tobacco flavors and he will enjoy them, or he will still call them Flanders .... Ointment. :)

I found out that I don´t like "weird" flavors like pound cake, licorice, chocochip cookies, lemonade, etc... And even though I love cofee, I haven´t found a coffee juice that I like. My all day vape is desert ship and recently started vaping apple cured tobacco... I mix them togheter and that is my all day vape these days. I have a box filled with juices that I bought and will not vape unless it is an emergency.

I cannot thank you all enough for all of the ideas! I even made him come read them so he can see that others have felt the same way :) And to respond to all the "How does he know what Flanders .... Ointment taste like questions"...We have three boys and he says vaping to him taste like the ointment smells when we've used it on the kids, but I honestly wonder if he maybe tried it as a child??? LOL :) Thanks again for all the advice and I'll let you know what eventually works for him!

Also, keep an eye out for vape meets and local get-togethers. They happen more than you would think. Maybe he doesn't feel manly puffing on a cute little e-cig. Maybe he needs to see other men vaping on "power tools" with flavors such a mocha java and strawberry shortcake to know that "it's okay".... just an idea. I have an alpha male brother, I know how some "tough guys" think.

If all the juices have come from different vendors with different pg/ch mixtures it sounds like a atty/filler/wick issue. Maybe have him try a clean atty with a drip tip?

Lets first try ruling out the delivery method, then work on different juices. If you can get him to stop tasting .... creme with any juice or at least limit it then you can focus on the mixes and flavorings.

Just my opinion.

Just my two cents....but VG imparts a strange "oily" or cloying flavor to juice for SOME people (myself included). It can make it seem like one is vaping a lotion of some sort...thus the ".... cream"?...and tends to coat the throat or make the sinuses act up. That is for SOME people...not all people. VG has a slightly sweet flavor. PG has virtually no flavor at all (that is detectable by humans). VG can ramp up the vapor, but IMHO, mess up the flavor.

I used to vape only PG when I found out how much I diliked VG and how it tasted, felt and what it did to my breathing system. I've gotten where I can use a little to up the vapor a little bit...but never go over 20% now (that's just me). The PG will deliver the purest flavor if you do use flavorings (most vendors do). I'd advise leaning heavily towards the PG for your husband's juice...then look into the other juice vendor suggestions here.

My Vapor Store has a section for "Full PG juice" on their site that you might want to look at. I have bought from them for the past year and find their stuff high quality. My husband smoked tobacco flavors (Malboro red) and he likes MVS Flue Cured. A lot. And I love the smell of it...even though I'm a menthol vaper! MVS eLiquid E Cigarette

Ahhh that chemically perfume taste. I got that with a lot of highly regarded vendors. It's the flavoring.

The few vendors I use with "clean" juices that do not have any hint of perfumey stuff is Kick Bass Vapor and The Plume Room. I've had flavors I've liked and disliked, but never one that tasted like perfume.
