Atomizers and cartridges are a step backward in technology, in my opinion. But you may like them. I prefer the systems that have less chance of leaking.

If you post a link to the first kit you were considering maybe somebody can suggest a few attachments to try from that site. You will have to actually try a few different things to see what fits you best. There is not one attachment that is perfect in all respects.

Here's the link to the kit I am going to order http://www.dfwvapor.com/ego-c-twist-kit-1000mah.html so any recommendations as to what else I could add to it would be greatly appreciated. Also If atomizers and cartridges are a step back what would you recommend

I would suggest either clearomizers or cartomizers with the kit. $124.00 seems very expensive. Also realize most do not buy the 1000 mah because they are VERY long. There is a Twist starter kit for about $70= more $$ for accessories and juice :D Give me a bit and I'll find something more reasonable.

This person has done some excellent shopping for you! I tried to find everything at one place and they were usually out of stock in some item or another.

The atomizer will give you a chance to try dripping. The 306 is a great atty! It is LR so use it at lower voltages.

If you are concerned about the size of the Twist you may want to order a 650 and a 1000mah so you have one of each. If you are more concerned about battery time between charges then get 2 of the 1000mah. You may want to add an extra charger just so you have a backup. Always have a backup!

The site listed above gives you much more flexibility than buying a kit and then adding to that. Buy what you want!

LOL it was very taxing finding a place with everything in stock. Great idea about buying one 650 and one 1000.

I have an ego twist, and its great, but the battery doesnt last nearly as long as the standard. The twist wasnt around when I started, and I was always curious about vaping with higher voltage, but the mods were substantially more than I wanted to spend. I had purchased a standard ego, so now I have two ego batteries, one that is variable voltage. Its a great setup that uses the same chargers.

I know the kit is expensive but one reason im getting it is because I will be able to have 2 ego's that way my boyfriend will be able to try it out too. An if he likes it he going to buy his own an im going to get the smaller battery a my budget is about 300. I know its probably a lot to spend to start with but we just want to be able to try different thing like tanks, direct dripping an things like that so we will be able to get an idea of what we like.

Hello everyone,

Ok so I have been researching as much as I can online trying to find a good e cig for me to start with. I want the ego c twist. I like the body style an the vv on it. I also have no clue what kind of setup I should do. I was wonder what are the pros and cons of it? I also wanna know what setup you have it you own one, and wheres a good site to get a starter kit from? An some good sites for e liquid?e juice.
Also if there is a e cig out there with a similar body style yet performs better let me know please!
Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated

An just to give a some info about me
I smoke analog newports an have tried an e cig brand called nex gen (got it from a local smoke shop)
I have done some research on newport e juice an realized that im not really looking to match the flavor of e juice to the analogs I smoke. Yes I probably will get menthol e juice in the beginning just to try it out. Yet after a lot on thinking im not looking to match the e cig i get to an analog in taste I just want one the will create a good amount of vapor and have a nice throat hit. I have been smoking for 7 years by the way.

I think the ego c twist is perfect for any beginner (I ordered one for my friends mom yesterday). Also I would recommend Halo ejuice (Malibu Menthol) for a light menthol. Also my fave ejuice vendor up to this point only been vaping 3 weeks is RAWR vapor ejuice

Yes but realize the atomizer+ carrtridge in the $124.00 system are not really "true" tanks. If you bought two of the packages I posted you would have two 650 twist batteries + two 1000 batteries + all the chargers, attys, etc for a grand total of $170.00...that's for two full kits A's opposed to $248.00 for two of the kits you were thinking. Understand also, if you wish, you could buy add-on tanks for about $10.00 each. that would leave you over $100.00 to buy juice. It's a great deal and A's many have posted many problems with the cartridge/ atomizer system- dry hits and leaking. Just trying to get you the very best system possible. A's far A's I'm concerned they should NOT be selling the atomizer/ cartridge system until they resolve this well documented issue. Many would agree with me. The largest vendor up here in Canada refuses to carry the atomizer/ cartridge system because of the problems associated with it. I have no vested interest in selling you either system and only want you AND your BF to have the very best Vaping experience without problems. This tank system is identical to the eGo tank system- google "ego tank leaking" and you will come across a multitude of leaking tank problems. 6 weeks ago bought a convert an eGo C WITHOUT the tank system- instead it came with Clearomizers. After a 5 minute tutorial the convert was Vaping and LOVES his PV. He's now analog free 6 weeks. There also is regular cleaning of the atomizer required when using it with a cartridge. It's your choice but just be forewarned about the issues with an atty/ cartridge system A's it's well documented with many unhappy users.
Good Luck.

Don't get an Ego C - Twist, just get the "Ego Twist Replacement Batteries" (x2 @ 1000mah) and then get yourself a charger. It'll be about 57 bucks-ish. The Ego C tank system is leaky and generally considered bad by all the crazy few. Then get yourself a nice tank system. I'd start out with a Ego Vision Clearomizer LR aka the Stardust and then work your way up to a Vision Vivi Nova and learn how to rewick and rebuild your own coils. The next step is to look into DIY juice. There are many great videos and reviews on youtube I recommend you get yourself over there and check them out. Try: Estarra, GrimmGreen, and PBusardo and SteelJan for starters.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I only bought 1 kit which was the $124 kit it I understand there has been a lot of bad reviews about them but I have also seen people who did enjoy them. an then i also bought some juices an some other miscellaneous things from mypvshop.com. I am going to check the links you posted again as there are some things I am interested in. I understand that the kit I bought may be a mistake an over priced but sometimes people need to make mistakes and learn from them. Even if it does end up being a mistake at least it gets my foot in the door to convert to becoming a vapor. Also I am going to buy other things too that way i have a verity of things to try an experiment with.

There is one problem i am having i cant see to grasp the concept of what parts are compatible with the battery (ego c twist 100mah) or how to buy a set up ive been researching some more some im starting to understand it a little more. Its the threading part an what part goes to what. Like an example would be (from my understanding please correct me if im wrong) For direct dripping i would get a atomizer or a cartomizer (510 threading) & connect that to the battery then I would get a drip tip (510 connection) & connect that to the atomizer or cartomizer. An im lost at the take set up part. If you could or anyone else who reads this could you please tell me how to do a set up. Im more of a hands on learner so its hard for me to understand so if you or any one else who reads this could maybe tell me exactly how to do it an break it down a little like Battery+atomizer (510 fitting) + drip tip (510 fitting)= direct dripping. If you would be able to help me with this I would really appreciate it. Also are the 1000mah & 650mah both 510? (Man I feel like such a ....../noob)
