Hello everyone,

Ok so I have been researching as much as I can online trying to find a good e cig for me to start with. I want the ego c twist. I like the body style an the vv on it. I also have no clue what kind of setup I should do. I was wonder what are the pros and cons of it? I also wanna know what setup you have it you own one, and wheres a good site to get a starter kit from? An some good sites for e liquid?e juice.
Also if there is a e cig out there with a similar body style yet performs better let me know please!
Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated

An just to give a some info about me
I smoke analog newports an have tried an e cig brand called nex gen (got it from a local smoke shop)
I have done some research on newport e juice an realized that im not really looking to match the flavor of e juice to the analogs I smoke. Yes I probably will get menthol e juice in the beginning just to try it out. Yet after a lot on thinking im not looking to match the e cig i get to an analog in taste I just want one the will create a good amount of vapor and have a nice throat hit. I have been smoking for 7 years by the way.

I started out with the ego-t upgraded to the ego-c system and then went to the ego twist battery, I liked the twist, still do as a backup, all of my egos are soon to be backups LOL I use the ego twist with LR 306 atty, xl 306 drip tip, and the ego cone cover. Getting ready to upgrade to the Reo Bottom feeder mod.

E juice, I usually use either Dragons Blood with double extra flavor 50/50 blend at 12mg nic from ECBlends or Tiki Juice by Halo also at 12 mg nic.

You can't really base your preference from another though as what works for me may not work for you, and with ejuice, order sample sizes in the beginning as you may not like them. When first starting out though if you don't like them at first revisit it in a few weeks as your taste begins to return it may taste differently to you.

If you want a one stop shop where you can get everything you need, check out Vaperite. They have the eGo-C Twist batteries at a good price, and they have all the accessories (chargers and cone) available. They have a good selection of clearos and cartos, and they have a wide variety of juices as well.

If you must have the Twist in kit form, the only vendor I know of that has one is Sweet-Vapes. They also have decent juices and a selection of attachments.

If you want something in the eGo form factor, I doubt you will do better than a Twist. The only drawback is the size, which may be non-issue for most. My 650mah Twist is the same size as my 1100mah KGO, and the 1000mah Twist adds another inch or so. The VV makes all the difference in the world. Just be sure to get attys/cartos/clearos with standard resistance (2.5-3 ohm) so you can have the full range of VV.

I was a newport smoker for 18 yrs. 3 packs a day when I went to vaping years ago :) I use the EGO twist 1000 mah with VIVO V2's and a PCC for on the go charging. THis kit was custom ordered easily thru Vapor Kings. Here is a pic EGO C Twist Vision PCC.jpg

My husband and I just started about a week ago. We have the ego c twist. I love the fruit and coffee juices. I thought I would only like tobacco flavors. I love my e cigarette so much, I don't miss regular cigarettes.
Just for fun, I bought a disposable e cig at the gas station. The taste was nothing like what we get with the ego. Based on taste alone, the disposable would not have made me quit smoking.

Thank you for the sites im checkin them out right now.

Keep in mind that most vendors have the Twist in stock, and I just pointed to places that would be as trouble free for you as possible. I actually bought my Twist "kit" from MyVaporStore. The price for the Twist was a little higher than others, but they had pretty colors available, including the blue that I liked, as well as the matching cone in stock.

And just to confuse even more, check out Liberty Flights. They have great prices with the 20% coupon code "october20." They should have everything you are looking for, and since they are on the west coast, it should take no more than a day or two to get to you.

The Twist is an excellent starter e-cig. The pros and cons are pretty equally balanced.

It is the best VV e-cig for the money. You can get better for more money (iTaste, etc.), you can't get better for the same money.

Pro - long lasting battery.
Con - long lasting battery. Lol (1000mah battery=4 3/4 inches/121 mm)

Pro - you don't need to buy separate batteries for it or change batteries.
Con - when the battery eventually dies you have to replace the PV.

Pro - eGo or kGo charger (420 mA) will work and is inexpensive.
Con - cannot be used while charging, will need 2 Twists or another PV to use while charging.

Pro - you can select the voltage you like (3.2 - 4.8 volts).
Con - hard to see numbers on dial unless in sunlight. (Not a big problem, just "Twist" to set where it works best for you.)

Pro - it will hold the set voltage until the battery dies.
Con - no drop in voltage to tell you that the battery is getting low.

I use mine with the Star Dust (Vision eGo clearomizer) / Fluxomizer / Vivi Nova 2.5 because they all work well without leaking. The Phoenix bottom coil also works well with it although I don't have any.

If you have any other questions, just ask.

I have only been vaping for a couple of months, but I started out with the ego c. After about a week of using it I went out and ordered the 1000mah twist. I am very happy with the twist and its the cheapest vv I have found. I have been trying as many different cartomizers, clearomizers, and attys as I can (or should I say as often as my wife lets me order stuff lol). Ok so what works for me. I really like the vision clearomizers. They hold a lot of juice and work well. The smoktech dual coil low resistance worked well and gave a good warm hit. Still trying out many juices from many vendor trying to find flavors I really like so not much help there.

I.was also wondering what's the difference between cartomizers and atomizer and clearomizers? An I want a tank type of set up so what would I need to buy with the ego c twist (thinking of the pink 1000 mah battery)

An if I don't get a kit what should I buy for my setup to start off right?

If you don't get a pre-packaged kit, you'll need the following which purchased seperately might be more expensive than the kit...

1) Two batteries so you have one to vape while the other is charging
2) One Cone
3) One charger
3) some cartomizers or tanks
4) good tasting juice

When you decide where you want to buy from, draw up a list and post it here and we can let you know if you forgot anything.

the main components are

1. battery 2. atomizer - to nuke the juice 3. cartridge - to hold the juice. In many cases, 2 and 3 are combined in various configuration, commonly known as cartomizer.

a cartomizer like the boge 2.0 LR cartomizer combine an atomizer and filler material that you put the juice in. When using, you take your battery (ego twist), connect the boge carto directly to the battery and slap a drip tip on it. that's all you need.

the cartomizer component can be replace with a clearomizer which insstead of using filler material to soak up the juice, its shape is a skinny tank (usually holding around 1.5ml of juice) and it has wicks to deliver the juice to the atomizer). (I personally prefer this, I can see juice level, easier to top off/refill, can be cleaned. faster refill... no need to drop 3 drops and wait 10 seconds for it to be absorbed by the fliler material and I think juices taste better.

there is also the cartotank set up which is not really portable... basically cut holes and insert the cartomiser like boge LR into a tank. so now the filler material is well saturated from the tank of juice.

If you want a tank type set up, I think you should look for a clearomiser like the vision ego clearomiser v3 or a ce3. (you can drop directly into the v3 to refill, with ce3, you need to use a syringe.

which ever you chose, also grab a drip tip (the mouthpiece).

2 x ego twist
1 x ego usb charger
1 x boge 2.0 LR cartomiser box (5 pcs )
1 x somekind of clearomiser, ce3, ego vision v3, phoenix, stardust
1 x drip tip

all of these will be very pocketable. Once you get comfortable and want more, there is obviously more but I think this is a very reasonable start up to see what you prefer.

Once again thank toy everyone for all the advice. I'm looking at sites right now trying to find everything I need / want on one site. An before I big anything I'm goin to make a list of what I am buying an from what site. That way if I left anything out I can I can just add it on. I also wanna make sure I don't order a ego clone or anything.

Just a side note I think I'm goin to order a take setup and I want a drip tip. So what I was thinking was to order a kit and then order extra stuff on the side. Hopefully this way would be less expensive. I just have a hard time finding the pink one in a kit.

My normal kit is the ego-c I'm fairly happy with it. No major complaints. I did buy the USB pass thru model. And the silicone tank caps are a must IMHO. Sure there may be better units out there, but it think it's been a great simple kit for my purposes...and if I ever upgrade to the mod squad, it will still be my backup and travel vape.
