A few flavors do have a slight smell to them to me, but nothing like cig smoke. JC juices are really stringent smelling though.

I use satrawberry juice and the only way my wife gets a whiff is if I blow it in her
face but she also says that it is a pleasant smell...for what that's worth.

I haven't smoked inside for over 10 years but the smoke did bother my husband.
I really don't understand my husbands reaction to my vaping he bought me my first kit for Christmas. But I told him that I wasn't going to quit vaping I am off cigs and on 0 nic and that is where I want to stay.

So how is vaping at zero mg going for you? I started out at 24mg and have dropped to 6-9 mostly 6 mg. I am going to be dropping down again soon. Anything I need to know?
I think they might pick up slight fragrances and I guess it is possible to get a headache if you are right on top of them. I do know that any kind of rose smell, even minute, gives me a massive migraine. I do think the main problem is paranoia.
It is going great. I just decided to try it one day any didn't have any problems so I just stayed with it. The only problem I seem to have is that the flavors don't seem strong enough for me. I have to bump them up with Lorann's or tasty puff. I like strong flavor. Good luck to you in lowering the nic.
It’s funny, I never wanted to give up cigarettes when I started vaping. It just happened along the way. I have not really been trying to lower my nic levels; I have just found that the higher levels were affecting me in undesirable ways and I have steadily reduced them. Now I am looking forward to seeing the nicotine level at or near zero and can actually visualize it happening. That was never a possibility (in my mind) when I was smoking analogs. What do they put in those things that affect people’s minds this way???
Well I'm going to go with everyone else on this: It's in their head. Now other people I've vaped around can smell the flavouring with certain stronger flavours but otherwise only when I blow the vapour directly at them.
I recently vaped Pink Lemonade in a theatre and my hubby didn't even know I had vaped through the whole movie. He was sitting right next to me. I've also vaped in my sisters bathroom and she never said a word.

LOL, no but she used it right after me. If she had smelled anything she would have said something.

I see something that looks like smoke - it MUST be smoke, it MUST be dangerous, it WILL kill me if it so much as touches my skin - cough, cough, hack, hack.
I remember I had this friend back in college. Would throw a hissy fit when I smoked. Claimed she was allergic yadda, yadda, yadda - it was funny how that allergy disappeared when the guy she fell for was a smoker.

gah, people like that irritate me. if it were sincere--but it does sound psychological. as lynn said, PG is used in some asthma inhalers.
i know that vaping doesn't bother my grandma (who has a CRAZY acute sense of smell)--she actually loves the way my vapes smell. nor does it bother my grandad (COPD) or my aunt (constant allergies/coughing). actually, when my g'dad is sitting there doing his breathing treatment (one of the big nebulizers--creates a small amount of vapor), i often sit there with him, vaping, and shouting over the noise of the nebulizer.
his reaction to me vaping? "I hope this keeps you from having to use one of these" *indicating nebulizer*
considering they're all what i'd consider high risk to experience annoyance/side effects from vaping and don't, i'm a little suspicious of anyone who does.
