Here is my update so far!!

Thanks once again for all the responses. I'm glad some of you that have the same symptoms and struggles with this I am have commented here. I thought at first I may have been alone here...

Some of the people that have commented here have suggested that my sore throat may be linked to the higher 18mg nicotine level I have been vaping and I think that is a big part of it. I went down to 12mg with my recent purchase from virgin vapor and after vaping it for a couple days it doesn't hurt like it did before. I still feel a little bit of irritation but not as bad as before, and I really think that it had to do with the nicotine level. I like to chain vape when I'm at work and I do feel like I am "good" as far as the nicotine fix after 5 mins or so of vaping but i like to keep puffing though. I think I'm getting more then I need and I can't explain it but too much especially in the liquid form seems to irritate my throat.

Now I am going to try and test this and see if it really is the nicotine..I bought 2 15ml bottles of ice beard menthol from velvet cloud vapor, one with 12mg nicotine and one with none. I am going to mix them both in my protank and dilute the nicotine and see if my throat gets less irritated with less nicotine. This way I will eventually be able to get a perfect ratio of nicotine and still have the full flavor of the ice beard without diluting it with water. Hopefully this works for me and if it does I will just start ordering an even lower nicotine level of 6mg. I am still going to stick to organic eliquids also...for many reasons.

I got my order from virgin vapor on Tuesday and have been vaping it since then but still smoking some but a lot less analogs. I got a 3 sampler from their absolute line(without alcohol). Orange creamsicle, vanilla nut , and watermelon. At first I didn't like any of them but after vaping them more they all grew on me. I put them in ce4 clearomizers and then put one in my protank and I think they vaped better way better in the protank and tasted much better too. The orgainic virgin vapor flavors are more mellow then regular eliquid I have had, it really does have that organic taste and feel. I also purchased a 15ml of wintergreen from their regular line and I can smell the alcohol in it...I think that's what it is but it just smells and tastes weird. I'll let that one steep for a week or 2 and come back to it. My one complaint with virgin vapors was that they came an a mailing bag with very little protection and 2 of the bottles leaked all over the inside of the bag. The bottles weren't cracked I think the tops of the bottles were not tight or they came loose during transport. I emailed them last night about out it but haven't heard anything back from them yet.

Well that's it so far, I will let you guys know how the stuff I bought from velvet cloud vapors and guilty pleasure organics is/goes when I get it. I would highly recommend a protank2, I like mine so much I bought protank2 mini last night. Check out ebay you can get one for $13.

Thanks again for all your responses

I haven't experienced any throat irritation but I have been feeling irritation in my lungs. Like a burning sensation when I breathe after vaping. I do have allergies so I feel like I may have a sensitivity to something in the juices that I've tried but I can't figure out what's causing it. I'm very tempted to try some VV juice without alcohol to see if I get the same reaction.

It doesn't make the slightest difference if the plants are organically raised or not. Glycerin is glycerin. If you distill water from an organic range-raised heritage corn plant and distill water from a genetically engineered corn plant raised on chemical fertilizer in a hydroponic tub and compare the two you will get the same identical chemical (H2O) from both. Same goes if you make glycerin from the plants.

This makes sense.

i have been having these same sort of issues myself. however i did make the mistake of trying tobacco which tasted terrible, i decided to go with 12 for guava and i actually like the taste of it. but im still having small issues with throat irritations when chain vaping or using for long periods amount of time and going for the full drag i guess you could say. ive been thinking a lot into doing DIY where its 100% VG though.
