Hi, guys!
I've been gone for a few years, life happened and the excuses to start smoking again got me. Looking to get back into vaping and away from the cancer sticks. Looks like a lot has changed in a couple of years and I'm lost.
I was a REO user, and enjoyed Mrs. T's juice...looks like they are both gone. Without REO, I think I would like to stick with a box mod, but maybe with a tank instead of squonking. My first go around got out of control...collecting REOs, wrapping coils, making juice and staying on ECF all hours.
I guess what I need to know is who are the go to guys now?
So far I've looked at the Endura T18 v II- worried about built-in battery life and power, and still don't love tube mods. I do like the price and it looks like an easy set-up.
Peeked at the GeekVape legend and mini- like the form, still in the running.

What is your favorite, least fiddly set-up? (mod and tank)
Supplier?
Juice maker?

Thanks in advance!

Single or dual batteries- no preference, I'm at home 90% of the time, so charging isn't a problem.
Biggish, smallish- probably smallish. I know I'll end up with more than one eventually.
Price range- I'd like to stay in the $100 range to get started. Starting from scratch again...I sold and gifted mods, chargers, all the coil building stuff, juice.

REO is still around
Reos Mods

REOSmods | High Quality Mechanical Squonk Mods

The company was sold and the new owners don't seem terribly interested in maintaining it. But, If you are interested, REO is still selling. There are a lot of new squonkers out there, I have a regulated HCigar VTInbox with an Evolv board. I like it very much. You won't believe how much stuff is out there.

I just picked up a couple of new mods after a long break. Spent a while researching what's around. Got an Aegis mini with an internal battery, Asmodus Colossal with removeable battery. They are both cheap. I like them a lot.

Can't help with tanks because I decided to stick with old out of production goodies that I have a boxful of.

If you used to squonk you would be amazed at how much squonking stuff is out there. Cheap too. Pretty much all RDAs now come with a squonk pin.
I'm leaning towards a tank for now. A couple of my buddies use tanks and they seem less fiddly than they used to be. Finger crossed.

I'm still searching, but keep coming back to the Aegis mini. The internal battery
is enticing, not having loads of batteries and chargers. How long is a charge lasting you?
I vape in the 1- 1.5 ohm range. Used to build my own, but want to avoid that for now.

If you're used to a 1-1.5 ohm vape and want something small, internal battery, and charges quicky you could take a look at the pod mods.

Personally I like the Orion. But the 0.2 & 0.5 coils are restricted DTL and haven't tried the 1 ohm coil; it might suit you. Thing charges in like 30 minutes.

@Della Cirque - If you're interested in an Aegis mod, you may want to check out the 100W TC mod. This place still has them, for just $43.59 + S/H. Only the Green Camo is available now:

Geekvape Aegis TC Box Mod

I bought a Silver/Brown for me and an all Black for the neighbor when they still had them. S/H was inexpensive and they shipped quickly.

As far as a MTL tank that takes drop-in coils that last a long time...I'd recommend the Innokin Zenith full size 4mL tank. It's topfill, coil is super easy to change out, and it provides great flavor, IMO. The 1.6ohm coils are great, to me. I can easily get 3 or more weeks from each one, depending on the eliquid I run through them. Last I checked, MyFreedomSmokes still had some for $19.95 IIRC. Comes with a Plexus subohm coil and a 1.6ohm coil. Could try the code MFS10 to see if it still works for 10% off.

Box's are plentiful and some good recommendations already, especially the callouses. I like the size of it, as most are huge these days. Another simple but solid mod is the aspire nx75a and jac vapour makes a good one. But drop in mtl coils? Building isn't so bad and your use to it and its flat out better then drop in mtl tanks, especially if your use to a reo. I would recommend a few awesome mtl rtas. Doggy style, darvw, kayfun prime, true mtl are tops and the new kayfun just came out, but waiting for batch 2, it's the new kfl . All above tanks and mods are very compact and would be a killer vape for you....I think there might be a few drop in coil mtl tanks that are good, but imo is going backwards to a nice reo set up. messing around buying coils sounds convenient, but they add up in costs and cannot be as customizable as a nice build you do yourself...good luck my friend

Here’s a visual for you, from left, the Zenith on the Aegis, and two Colossal mods with Gear Rtas. And look around for prices, but I think I got the Zenith for about $20, the Aegis under $50, and the Colossals $35-40.

For every day, the Colossals are my favorite, but I use the Aegis at the pool, doing yard work, etc, where it’s likely to get wet, dirty, knocked around.

I believe the mini is quite a bit smaller. I haven’t heard anything bad about them and I’d imagine they’re just as good as the other Aegis.

I use that same range of resistance. The Aegis Mini has quite a small battery. Works fine for me because I have several mods. Don't actually know how long it would last on a charge if it was all I was using. I did take a day trip a while back and only took the Aegis, it lasted until I got home. If I only had the Aegis I would definitely get 2 of them. They do charge up really fast. I got a bunch of removeable battery mods when we were all worrying about the Deeming regs, but I love the simplicity of the Aegis and my old iStick 40.

The only tank I have with drop in coils is a Nautilus. I'm sure there are better options around these days.

I remember that avatar, from when Reoville was still Reoville...
Cheap and easy for me would be the eLeaf Invoke and a Vapefly Galaxies.

But I am so old, even my new stuff is old.
I remember that avatar, too, PapawBrett! Good to see you! I haven't looked at Vapefly yet.
Eleaf has remained on the short list though. Thanks!

Thanks for the info! I've been reading and actually, Nautilus seems to still be mentioned a lot.
