Here’s a visual for you, from left, the Zenith on the Aegis, and two Colossal mods with Gear Rtas. And look around for prices, but I think I got the Zenith for about $20, the Aegis under $50, and the Colossals $35-40.

For every day, the Colossals are my favorite, but I use the Aegis at the pool, doing yard work, etc, where it’s likely to get wet, dirty, knocked around.

I believe the mini is quite a bit smaller. I haven’t heard anything bad about them and I’d imagine they’re just as good as the other Aegis.
Yes, love the form and size of the colossal, definitely reminds me of my old stratums. Strats are almost impossible to get, so thinking of buying one of these. All the measurements are the same as the strat, the only difference is the strats are only 36 or 38mm wide and the colossal is 40 I believe. The colossals are a bit heavier, but not to bad. Hows the paint? You have it long enough to see how it holds up? I believe they are basic zink and paint, right? Thanks

Oh, geez...those are all gorgeous! Thank you for the comparison!

Geez, I can't even post replies without goofing it up. I really don't want to jump in the deep end with building coils again. Let me waste a couple hundred bucks first. :D
Understood...it definitely is a lot less hassle I suppose. Perhaps one that comes with drop ins and a rebuildable deck? This way you have both options...personally I have no experience with drop in combos, but if they make a good one your ready either way

goodbye
Innokin and Uwell seem to pop up a lot, too. Any thoughts?
Seems like I remember Innokin, but so much of this is new.

Hi Della. I just bought the Innokin Coolfire Mini 40W & Zenith D22 Kit last week and am loving it so far. The Zenith Tanks have a good reputation and can be used for either base or nic salts. The other mod I have had for a couple of months now is the Aspire Zelos 50w Nautilus 2 kit. Also can be used for base or nic salts. I like them both, but the Innokin is my favorite of the two. They are small enough to be portable, and strong enough to fill just about any vaping needs. They both can be had for $50.00 or less.

I'm leaning towards a tank for now. A couple of my buddies use tanks and they seem less fiddly than they used to be. Finger crossed.
The Tank and it's vape settings along with frequency of use generally drives the type of mod to buy. The rule of thumb I live by is, after a vape session, it may be ideal to have two thirds of the battery charge remaining in order to maximize the life out of the battery(s)/mod.
The Eleaf Isticks give me the most bang for my money (Capacity: 2600mAh):

Using RDA's only at 6 watts or so, the Istick 30's are lasting me an excess of 3-4 years.

Thanks, everyone!
I pulled the trigger on a GeekVape Aegis Mini with Cerberus Starter Kit.
Now to find juice, and decide on a backup tank. (there are too many shiny things in my carts to decide)
:matrix:
Juice- used to mix my own, mostly coffees, creams and the dangerous custards- but liked Mrs. T's Snickerdoodle and Strawberry Shortcake when I was feeling lazy. Don't even know where to start with juice vendors. Maybe just a sample pack and then hit the brick and mortars that have popped up everywhere.

When you're ready for diy again, I'm fairly sure these were cloned shortly after Mrs T's closed.

So did you vape dtl with the reo? Decided to go a completely different route? Maybe going dtl sub ohm will do it for you, but completely different vaping style to a mtl reo. Hell you could probably fit your old tank into the drip tip of your new tank. Good luck

    My setups are...
    Two Kamry K1000 Plus
    One Kamry K1000
Two limelight mods, one on its way, and one just ordered.

All running Aspire Tigon Tanks with 1.2 ohm coils. Sliding top fill, leak free coil change.

Awesome tank, downside, you need a filler bottle.

But simplist setup I have ever had. And does sub ohm, if that is your thing....

The shiny Colossals are newer, a few weeks. I have the black one too, and that’s more matte. It’s a few months old, no wear yet. They seem really durable though. It’s not the same rubberized paint as the minikin.

At this point, I'm just lost and wanting to stop smoking again. I'm not sure I even know the difference between dtl/mtl... I like a little resistance and tend to hold it in my mouth for a second before inhaling, so I assumed mtl.
Crap, now I think I read too much, watched too much, overloaded and ordered stuff I'm going to hate!
