HELP! KANGERTECH SUBVOD BLINKING 15 TIMES

Hello, i'm new here and I really need help.

My brother moved to China and gave me his Subvod. It was working fine but suddenly his burning light started blinking 15 times (and not burning). Stayed that way for three days (I spent some days out) and when I came back I turned it on again and it was the same way. I cleaned the inner part and it was working again!
1 day have passed and the problem is back. And already cleaned and still the same way.


- When I put it on the charger, both red and green lights are turned on;
- I cleaned the charger hole and the part where the tank screws;
- It worked all day with no problems;

Please, somebody help me!!!

You might need to pull the positive post up in the center of the 510 connector. You can use a flat head screwdriver or a paper clip or something to just gently lift up around the edges. If it gets pushed down and touches the metal around it the device is shorted our and won't work properly.

Just tried and still with the same problem.
I don't know if it matters but it blinks 15 times even with the tank disconnected.

The battery might be wasted then. Since it's doing it with or without the atomizer attached, if it's not shorting at the 510 it could be the wiring inside or the battery could just be done.

Try plugging the charger in first, then slowly turn the battery on and stop when you get the correct color of light on the charger.

I am going to (guess) that your battery may be toast and need replacement. Intermittent, slightly fixable problems that show up the way yours does tend to make me consider something loose electrically, or just your battery in the process of dying.

You can warranty or replace, or even look at replacing it with something more substantial, should you so desire. If it's still under warranty, I would look into that option first.

Maybe you brother had it a while and use it frequently so it is at end of life. Sounds like it might be internal battery. If it was dropped a few times --I've done that -- I have adjusted the center pin on some older models and that worked for awhile.
