Help...kayfun got stuck to the mod top cap....

I know this is a wayy late post, but figured this would help some…

My kayfun 3.1 gets stuck to my Nemesis all the time. Haven't gotten around to getting the stealth cap for it yet. But what I do know is that if you take a larger paperclip, line up the air holes on the ring and the nemesis, then insert the paperclip. Bend the clip against the ring the opposite direction you're turning your atomizer. keep the top connected to the body, and this makes it much easier as well. Works every time!!!!

Makes it super simple for me as I can buy a box of paperclips for wayyy less than the cost of the ring.

I'm not even really joking. I once watched a friend turning a piece clockwise to unscrew it for 10 minutes until I noticed what he was trying to accomplish.

I have found, since this thread started, My Ithaka sections will bind and not separate. Several times I have had the Ithaka or my Rocket(kayfun clone) Stuck on the Nemesis.

EVERY TIME, without fail, using a pair of rubber grip gloves I have been able to grasp and unscrew the pieces.

Gloves are a cheap investment.

wow this just happened to me...my nemesis is a clone and im thinking about taking it to the guys at the shop and have them just drill a hole through the airhole ring so it will crack in half. I hope that will accomplish something

I've trying more than an hour how...kayfun is stuck to the top cap on nemesis.. I tried to make grip so used latex glove but other parts were unscrewing instead of the 510 tread. Any solutions??

mine is too!!! my hand is bleeding from from the threading on the top cap! I tried unscrewing it as hard as I can and the threading from my Vanilla Mod destroyed my hands!

All these threads about Kayfuns stuck on their mods is ridiculous. My Kayfun 3.1 is stuck on my JustGG top cap and I have tried everything from gloves to the freezer to tape to vice grips and still no luck. I have not scratched anything yet so that is good but my temper is getting the best of me. If I do not get this off soon I am going to destroy this kayfun lol. BTW this is my second kayfun same thing happened on the first one and I destroyed the kayfun to get it off. It has been a few months so I thought I would get another kayfun since I enjoy the vape so much but this is just stupid.

this works for me and no damage done to anything...... hockey tape. first put all the tubes on the mod and the cover on the atty. then take a piece of tape and wrap it tightly on the atty just above the air control ring. then another piece on the mod just below where the atty and mod meet but covering a part of the ring. wrap them real tight, maybe two times. there should be about a quarter inch exposed right where the atty and mod meet. now the tape gives you something to grip on and just hold real tight and turn. works for me every time. this happens on my set-up often enough and before i figured this out, a lot of cursing and bloody hands were par for the course. i suppose other kinds of tape would also work but being a canadian there are always a couple of rolls lying around. it was my ah-ha moment when i figured this one out and if this does not do the trick, your atty and mod are probably welded together. hope this helps.

Strap clamps work well too. I have a pair of leather gloves, not expensive ones that I've used when the Taifun GT base decided to permanently mate with the top of my Chi You mechanical mod. The threads on a Taifun GT are very sharp!

Wrap the crap outta it with black tape about half a roll and wrap it oppisite direction of threads then vise grip the bottom part that is wrapped in black tape unthread it take blacktape off clean tape residue with cotton ball or swab and rubbing alcohl and it will take residu right off..
