I've had my 510 with auto batteries for just over a week now. And am satisfied for the most part. However, I've killed 3 atomziers with it so far.

This afternoon I was just vaping away watching tv when the atomizer just died. It worked one moment, then just quit the next. I tried changing the battery and cleaning the connections, but that didn't make a difference.

I have a similar story for one of my other atomizers, was working until the battery died. Changed the battery and nothing, atty was dead.

Am I doing something wrong? Only mod I've done and tried was cutting the poly so the cart would wick faster. However, by the time I had tried that I already had killed at least one atomizer.

I sure hope this isn't considered normal, and from what I've read so far, it shouldn't be.

I feel like such a ...... now. My battery died, and every time I looked at the tip I only looked at the perfect time and saw the led on (during the dead battery flashing). The 2nd battery i tried was one that I killed last night at work and forgot to charge it.

i've still killed 2 atomizers, but I chalk that up to user error and learning how to use this thing lol

Atomizers are touchy and they must be kept wet so they don't burn out. Some atomizers will last for months and months, others will only last a few days. Some need to have the post adjusted and some work just fine without doing anything to them.

You can check out this link for instructions on adjusting the post:
When an Atty Works on One Device (Battery), But Not Another

You can also try this and see if that doesn't bring them back to life:
Highping Atty Resurrection Method

OH yeah! This makes sense. If you screw the atty on too tight you can squish the metal piece down that makes contact with the battery, so when you put it on the next battery it no longer makes contact... vid shows how to pry that metal post back out.

wow

you guys are scary fast at replying to noobie help threads

I'm on several other forums and people aren't nearly this helpful or fast to reply. I don't even have time to read all the links before someone else makes a post

Yeah this place rules. I've learned so much here and the people are always so friendly and helpful. This is my second home! :)
