I have the Smoktech SID & the Segelei Zmax Mini love them both. IMO, I think Segelei is a better product. But I think either one is a good choice. In my avatar the blue is the SID, the pink is the Zmax. Good luck & vape ON:vapor:

They both have pretty much the same screen & options, except the mini has the option of RMS or MEAN setting.

I don't think you could go wrong with either one. I have a sigelei Legend and the craftsmanship with astonishing. Good luck with you. I think it is great you support the locals but with it this close to Christmas..... I'd have to do some shopping on line with discount codes. heehee Good luck to you. Let us know what you decide.

Out of those two choices I would probably choose the SID. Now if it were a Sigelei Zmax I would choose the Zmax. I've seen a fair few people complain about the Smoktech Zmax.

Have a look around on the forums - in particular the Smoktech "Max" VV devices section. This will give you some ideas what people like and don't like about each device.

Only you can ultimately decide which one to go with - all I will say is you might also want to do a little research about battery and charger safety. The batteries and charger that come with kits from some vendors can have questionable quality.

I bought a SID for my sister and it was constantly saying "Atomizer Short" when there was no short. After that I heard a couple of other people with the same complaint. I returned the SID to the local B&M, they were able to reproduce the problem so I was able to exchange it for a Itaste SVD. Based on that I could not recommend the SID to you, but I can recommend the SVD.

I have a Sigelei Zmax v3 relescoping mod and to be honest I hate it. There are a few things about it that drive me nuts. the screen is one. If you tighten down the mod to hard or if you mod is knocked over the entire screen and button housing will shift so now mine was knocked over from a standing position on the coffee table and I can only get it to fire if I press one side of it. The mod also has a lot of acceptance issues as far as getting errors like low load and short even with my protank and a normal 1.8 coil. The other thing is air flow on this mod I hate the post because to stabilize most of my tanks I have to screw them down so far that it blocks air holes. 1 final thing. If you do go witht he Zmax V3 the batteries they provide you with in the kit are not very good. I would recommend purchasing other batteries, and stay away from the zmax tank that comes with it, just throw it away. If you are purchasing the kit. TO be honest for the price you pay for even just the mod, there are beter mods out there. This mod pushed me to the point that I went mechanical spent the money on a king and a sentinel m16 and am so glad I did.
