It is a budget issue! Also, I'm done with the subscription game (it was fun, but I'm done) I am spending my last dime... that's why I can't decide.
Well the next step is simple then: what device do you have now and what is your budget?

If we know the actual device we can see if there is a place to get compatible coils, and if we know the budget we can tell if it’s actually cheaper, as well as if you can get an even better device for less money. Subscription services are such a notoriously flagrant rip off that both are quite possible.

Without this information we can do very little though.

Bombastinator, If you read my post on this thread you would notice I answered those questions:
I don't think it matters, but here's the details: Aspire PockeX and 9 coils, Innokin EZ Watt 35W kit and 7 coils, four 60ml bottles of juice (three over half full, but the only one I really like down to 20 ml) and a 30 ml bottle of 18mg tobacco juice I use to boost nic of other juices. Vape under 4 ml a day.
Priming coil on my new Innokin EZ Watt right now.

At the time I wrote it the post I quoted was your most recent. I see your statement about hardware occurred on the next page. Not sure why the delay occurred. No matter though, an answer is an answer. Even a partial one.

I really like the Innokin EZ watt. Trying the 1.5 ohm coil first. Controls are so simple (love the 3 click on/off) Very good flavor, not too big or heavy, and so far the coil is doing fine. My only complaint is no air flow control... it's a bit too restricted (not too bad with the 1.5 ohm coil, but when I try the 0.6 ohm I'd like a bit more) Haven't got the new juice yet.

Well it's a good thing I just got my new mod/tank because I dropped my PockeX and broke the glass on the tank. I still have 9 coils so looks I will be trying the Nautilus X tank (uses the same coils) Now I see why people put "rubber bands" on the tank (used to laugh because I am so careful and OCD with my devices I didn't need a silly rubber thingy, but just add alcohol and gravity... ) So much for my budget.

Which is why the official motto for this forum is have backups for your backups. Crap happens.

That's an expense that this person doesn't sound like he can afford at the moment. It takes cash flow to get started getting the raw materials, tools, and gear to rebuild. Same for DIY liquids. You need Pg, vg, liquid nicotine, flavoring agents, measuring equipment, etc. Original poster didn't sound like he can afford all of these at this time.

I have the ingredients and the tools to make my own e-liquid, but that doesn't guarantee that my recipes are going to taste great...or even be vapable. I've only had about a 25% success rate with my DIY skills. That's about equal to my chances of finding a good commercial vape juice.

I started DYI for 50 bucks, 10 dollars cheaper than if I had put in my standard commercial juice order. Hardest part was itxwas scary, didn't know what to expect, didn't know if it was a waste of money. But, 5 years latter, I wouldn't have it any other way. Commercial juice is such a needless expense.

I waited to try the Vapetasia Killer Kustard until I put in a fresh 0.8 ohm coil. It's very smooth, creamy and good vanilla taste. I would have got the lemon but I already have some lemon/strawberry that I add to custard (not too much) so after a couple days of vaping it by itself, I added some of the lemon and it's wonderful. To be honest, it's creamier than my other favorite (LITquid General Custerd) but the general custerd also has a subtle kiwi and bourbon so I like them both.
