Help me dilute vg?

I am going to try this out, I bought some vg from Walmart, and they had a couple Lorann flavors that were not oils. Strawberry and Butter Rum. I want to make up a tiny batch of the vg and add just enough of one flavor to test it. (This is my first rodeo, here.)

VG is like syrup, I want it to be more like water. What percentage of distilled water do I add to plain vg to thin it enough, but not too much?

I have read that you can dilute the VG with 20% distilled water and the viscosity will be good. Also if you dilute it with PGA the TH will likely be better than PG.

i second getting some PG as well. there's probably a good reason juices are a mix of pg/vg, not vg/h2o or pg/h2o.

I just found that 40% VG to 60% PG works very well for me. It filled the Carto very well, the filler fiber took it up well without drips or lots ( none really) of shaking to fill the carto. It also stayed primed well in my tank. I might play with a slightly thicker version but so far 40% VG looks great to me. I am assuming the LorAnn was PG based.

Thanks for your input. Until my stuff gets delivered, I'm going for 0 nic, all vg just to see what it's like. I'll try to dilute at 20% with just water, don't have any pga in my house, and don't care about throat hit so much as flavor. . .

Start out at 10% or even 5% you can always add alittle more water. I use high vg liquid and prefer to dilute with pg as water tends to thin it too much as it warms up in the carto.
