I do not own a mod but I seen the vid of Zi Moshi building his and what a work of art!

I opted for the Janty Stick. Like you, I'm not sure if I did the right thing now that I see the Prodigy.
Looking at it with as much logic as I could muster, I figured that with a 1 year warranty, anything that could go wrong would be covered.
I guess time will tell.
