::raises hand:: I wanna suck on a box!

That just doesn't sound right, LOL.

I think the OP need to weight their wants. That way maybe people can help him/her get the best fit.

When I hear someone say the user doesn't like fiddling and money is no object, I think of a Reo. We need to find out what is most important...

Ok, sorry I've been a bit pre-occupied & needed a night where I could read all 5 pages of replies, try to digest everything & come back with a few more questions before I pull the trigger.

1) What do people mean by "analogs"?

2) Is it better to have a bigger Ecig that has a longer battery life so you dont have to carry around a PCC all day?

3) I see a lot of reference to KR808 & 510 - are these particular models or a certain kind of ecig?

3b)What is the real difference between the two?

A lot of people mention there can be flooding with auto batteries? Since I'm not familiar with the components of a ecig, can someone please explain this to me more in depth & how/why it happens?

4) What is the difference between auto & manual batteries?

5) What's some of the best ejuice out there to refill your 808 cartomizers with?

6) Is it easy to refill these cartos? Or is just ordering them pre-filled a much better idea? I assume refilling your own is much much cheaper correct?

6) What is an atomizer?

7) What is a PV?

The SO did some reading in this thread & suggested I buy her this one:

KR808D1 - Ultimate Starter Kit

What do you guys think of that one?

8) That kit seems to only come with 2 280mAH batteries - arent those kind of low? Should I get a kit with higher mAH batteries?

9) Someone mentioned a mini-PCC the size of an iphone? Anyone know of the kit that comes with this PCC?

10) Someone else mentioned getting a REO, how does that compare to the KR808D1 kit I linked to?

Please feel free to link to these particular vaporizers we've hopefully narrowed it down to.

Thanks!

I will do my best. Take my answers with a grain of salt, because its late here, and I'm just casually familiar with small ecig models.

1) What do people mean by "analogs"? A cigarette that you smoke.

2) Is it better to have a bigger Ecig that has a longer battery life so you dont have to carry around a PCC all day? I started with larger batteries, however I won't say you couldn't carry multiple smaller batteries and get the same result.

3) I see a lot of reference to KR808 & 510 - are these particular models or a certain kind of ecig?
3b)What is the real difference between the two? The number refers to the battery threads, and what you can attach to the battery without adapters. The 510 is a female connector and the 808 has a male connector.

3c) A lot of people mention there can be flooding with auto batteries? Since I'm not familiar with the components of a ecig, can someone please explain this to me more in depth & how/why it happens? Automatic batteries need to know your taking a drag on them to operate and therefore have a hole in them to do that. Having a hole in the battery has the drawback of possibly letting juice in. If you end up getting something with a 510, manual batteries are better. I've not played with the 808's so much.

4) What is the difference between auto & manual batteries? Manual batteries turn on when you push a button, and auto batteries detect your drag to operate.

5) What's some of the best Ejuice out there to refill your 808 cartomizers with? Flavors are subjective and every person has a different taste.

6) What is an atomizer? The part of the ecig that vaporizes the juice by heat.

7) What is a PV? Personal vaporizer, the whole unit.

8 & 9) I'm not qualified to answer, the lowest mah battery I own currently is 1000mah. I've never owned a PCC, I just prefer to charge enough batteries to do the job for the day. However, that doesn't mean that it can't be done on lower mah batteries, or the PCC is a bad idea at all, its just I've never tried it.

10) A Reo is basically a box mod, where the battery and a juice bottle are inside the box. You put an atomizer on top of the box. You squeeze the juice bottle through a hole in the box, to wet the atty via a feeder tube that leads to it. You press a button to vape on it. If the battery dies, you replace it with a charged one. If the atty dies you replace it. You just refill the bottle with juice when it is empty, which serves the purpose of dripping on the atomizer.

I think educating yourself on what you want is a worthy endeavor. Getting off of those analogs has been really worth it to me.

If you smoke 1 pack a day or less a KR808D-1 will work great, with few battery changes, at 1.5 packs per day it will still suffice but there will be lots of battery changing and a PCC is a must. Any more than 1.5 packs per day I would go for a bigger battery kit.

Cartomizers (atomizer cartridge combination) are easy to refill but it does take a little practice, the first time or two may be a little messy. You can refill them several times with juices from any of our forum suppliers there are thousands of flavors available. But cartomizers do foul over time and have to be replaced periodically.

Even if price is not a concern I would not advize jumping into any kind of mod, such as a Reo. They are very pricy and you don't even know if vaping will work for you yet. Also though a feeder mod (containing a bottle of juice fed into the atomizer) is very nice if it works for you I personally thing its better to work your way up to something like that, they can be tricky and probably very frustrating for someone who is just learning to vape.

Auto batteries seem like they would be like smoking but they really aren't some times you have to draw very hard to make them work and some times they need a primer puff to warm them up, its awkward and as mentioned they are prone to being damaged by juice leaks where as manual batteries are not.

Please feel free to ask all the questions you would like before jumping into any particular model. Its better to find a unit that is going to be easy to start with and will meet your needs than have to order something else right away.

If you want something that looks more like a cigarette and performs like one then go with the Bloog Maxxfusion. It has great vapor, a good variety of nice flavors, and a respectable throat hit. It's a little pricey but the Ultimate Kit will give you everything you need (2 batteries, 1 USB powered unit, 5 cartos, 1 carrying case, 1 personal charging case and some other stuff). It's $100.00 but you'll be good to go (the pcc rocks it's as about the size of an iphone 4 and charges you battery in your pocket). Pick up an extra pack of cartos when you order and look for a coupon code.

I don't currently use a Bloog Maxxfusion, I've moved on to big battery mods, but it's great for someone new to vaping if they want something that is cigarette like.

Just my 2 cents.

Also, do your homework and make sure what your buying is a good quality device, there's a lot of crap out there. Vaping is truly awesome, got me off of analogs in 2 days (after smoking for 21 years) but a bad ecig could lead to the thought that ecig don't work. Check out videos made by Grimmgreen. He really knows his stuff and does reviews of all different ecig. Go to Grimmgreen.com. Good luck on your quest.
