Ha! I have been back to vaping and off smokes for about a week now. I am really getting into it this time. Last time I guess I didn't want off of ciggys bad enough yet. But in the last week I bought a ton of juice from a local shop most of it was just looking for a tobacco taste. I have 3 bottles that should be here tomorrow from Backwoods juice after that I am done looking for a tobacco juice.

I started with an off brand eGo-T kit I got from a friend. In the last week I changed to an eGo twist and an Ismoka Mini BCC and wow what a difference that made. Went to change some juice at the shop today (they messed up my order and put WAY too much nic in it) and while I was waiting I bought some Tigers Blood juice and the Twist battery. I am really enjoying the Tiger's Blood right now washing it down with a Mt. Dew it's an interesting flavor.

I am not spending anymore money.....I am not spending any more money....I am not spending any more money LOL!

I guess as long as it keeps me off the Marlboro Lights it's worth it though.

Once you get through the initial equipment purchases and then trying a ton of different juices to find what you like, the spending will slow down to the maintenance level..... That is until you get into mods and different styles of tanks and drippers and cartos and and .... Dratt... now I gotta go buy something new! Welcome to ECF! Find something you like and stick with it, as long as it keeps you off of analogs, it's working.

Use this:

Track the time you've been smoke-free, the money you've saved and the cigarettes you have avoided since quitting

Write down what you enter there, so that you can re-enter it at a later date. (Assuming you don't use the banner in a signature somewhere.)

Keep a running total of what you spend on vaping equipment and consumables. Only spend money on juices and necessities (e.g. replacement coils/heads, a replacement battery if one goes dead) until you have "saved" enough from not buying cigarettes to buy new hardware.

You really should have a backup battery and head, though.

Once you find a setup that really works for you, for me I have an ego-t upgrade with a USB pass-through and a Kanger TS3 bottom coil and a back up of each, you really only need to buy liquid. Depending on where you get your liquid, I spend about $10 every two weeks. The initial purchase can be pricey but you will save tonsssss in the long run! Keep up the good work :)

That's a really good idea. Thank you.

I have spare batteries. I actually have 2 eGo-T batteries, an eGo-C battery, the newly purchased 1100 eGo twist, 3 eGo attys and 2 Ismoka minis. I bought my wife a 510 kit and 2 V-Nanos. So I should be set for a bit. But after tasting the Twist battery on 4.8 with a 1.8 in the Ismoka it might be hard to go back to the standard batteries it seems to really bring out the juice flavor a lot. plus a lot more vapor and I am finding I like the thicker vapor a whole bunch.

I use a T3S most of the time as well, I love that clearomizer personally :)

I usually spend around $30 a month at the most on extra clearo's and e-juice. I hate mods though... once you buy one you want another...then another, I think it's a worse addiction than cigarettes (money-wise at least )

I wish I could help you but as someone else said...first it's about getting your setup right & then your juice. Next I got into DIY. Then I got into different types of delivery methods, now RBA's & RDA's & I find that I really love building my own coils. Now it's mechanicals. I've pretty much accepted that this is now a hobby for me. I'm enjoying it a lot & I'm not smoking so as long as it's in the budget, for me it's not a big deal. Sounds like you may have found that this may be a hobby for you as well.

Buy that second twist if you can afford it and if that's what it takes for you to feel comfortable. Just go into "debt" with yourself for a little while. If you think about it, you can "make that back" - including shipping - in a week or so if you were a pack-a-day smoker (@ $7.00/pack where I'm from anyway).

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
I can't help you, sweetie. I just got done buying a backup battery, another Protank 2, more heads, an organizer stand for all my gear, and lord knows what else....lol

I've already invested a couple of hundred dollars on this and it's only the beginning.

Oh well, if you're going to attempt something important, might as well do it right....hehehe
