Help me spend my money on a ProVari w/tank setup

Hey guys and gals,

I've vaped before but looking to get something suitable for long term usage and dependability and have decided to go with a ProVari V2. I've been reading on here for weeks but there is a lot of information out there to try to decipher when you aren't fluent with these AVP's. While ordering the ProVari I will of course order the essentials like the charger and multiple batteries. My questions concern possible tank set ups and which carts to use, as I'd rather go straight to a nice tank/carto setup and not even bother with getting that stuff from ProVape.

I've read good things about the Phiniac tanks and like that they are Pyrex. I've decided that going with a clear Phiniac XL V2 tank would be a good choice, and I'll upgrade to the stainless end caps. I've read that the Boge XL carts pair well with this tank. Does anybody have experience with the Phiniac tank and would recommend a different tank over the Phiniac?

Where is a good place to buy these Boge XL cartos and does anybody have any further recommendations or see any issues with what I've outlined above? I'll also be ordering a carto punch.

If I had a Provari, or any larger type mod I'd go with this one : Tripolitis Tank - Avid Vaper I just love the look of it! Filling it seems easier too with that little screw in the top rather than the side like the submarine tank.

Hope you got the tank filling tool and a carto punch from phiniac with your order. They make life much easier. (or some alternative)

Threads move quick on this forum LOL Phiniac is most recommended for glass tanks, and other than the ViVi Nova Tank lately they are the most reccomended from what I have read.

That looks like a good deal, I'll order the carts from there. And yes, I'm ordering the Phiniac Tank Kit at the same time. I knew I'd at least need the carto punch and filling tool and that wound up being the same price as the kit.

Nothing to add really, you've selected a really nice setup. Like mentioned above, you should get the tank filling kit from phiniac. The filling tool is nice, and you are already getting a carto punch from them. You didn't mention if you are getting the extension caps and 18650's with the provari, you can't really go wrong either way, but it is something to consider.

Boge's are good. You might also want to try some smoketech dual coil cartos too. Either way, you should be good to go. I've never seen boge xl's for that low a price, pretty good deal.

Do you have any other ecigs? Getting some sort of backup would be wise imo, just a ego or something just in case. Chances are you won't need it, but stuff happens.

I'm going to go with the standard 18490 batteries for now as I'm a pretty light smoker nowadays (probably x2), but if I find they aren't getting the job done I'll spring for an extender cap and the 18650. You probably already saw but yes I'm going to get the tank kit from Phiniac.

Don't laugh, but I have a Prosmoke right now, which is an M40X series device. It's decent for being out and about, so I'll probably keep it for that purpose and as a backup - but when at home it doesn't really get the job done with the type of authority I'd like.

Hi. Great choice got my ProvRi about a month ago. Use it with a Phiniac tank I got. Great set up. The Provari is a great device and looks good with the Phiniac tanks.

Nope not too late at all, I threw one in with my original order with Phiniac. Got a "Stainless Steel Drip Tip - Bowling".

Edit - I'll probably expand on my drip tips eventually. They are all pretty universal right, assuming they are 510 style?

Hmmm final decision on the ProVari... what LED color to go with. Having a hard time making up my mind.

WOW must be something in the air! LOL I just ordered the provari and I am talking with Phiniac about a few custom tanks! I have order from Vapor Phonix really great CS and he has an excellent sales going on now for the Boge Cartos/mix and match 10 or 5 packs and also on the smoketech dual coil cartos best prices I have seen on either of those. I stocked up on both!
