First-drip tips? what are they? what do they do?

Second-Clearomizers, how long on average do they last? are they worth their price? (for referance i usually go through a carto every 2 days or so, and that's with refilling with liquid)

Third-Carto's.......who makes the best? i've found that i like warmer vapor so i'm thinking i'd like to try the WOW v4l carto's......yay,nay?

thank you for your time!

you will get more than 1 answer to your questions...here are mine:

1:drip tips are used for more than one reason. i use them because its easier to remove that compared to a flat mouth tip, for refilling. some use it to drip through without removing the drip tip (delrins especially, since they have a bigger hole).

2: i havent tried clearomizers, but i have tried fluxomizers from gotvapes. they last me about 2 weeks longer because they are so easy to clean.

3: i believe those cartos you mentioned are very good, on par with elitevaporworks 808 cartos. both are horizontal bottom coils and nice carto. if you like warmer vapor, you might want to go down to lower res cartos.

1: so a drip tip is effectively a replacement for the rubber end on a carto then? i like the sounds of that if that's what it is, should make it much easier to refill carto's.

2: do the fluxomizers come in 808 thread or do you need an adaptor? 2 weeks? that seems like a really long time (like i said i go through a carto in about 2 days, am i doing something wrong? after about 2 days i notice my vapor production and taste really go downhill)

3: do you have any links for lower res cartos?

thank you very much for your reply btw!

Yes, the DT replaces the rubber mouth piece. I'm using a short stainless steel one, has a little o-ring that seats it tightly when pushed into the end of the carto. It adds about 1/2" to total length (there are other, longer, DTs available, too). I'm only using the DT since I picked up a tank -- for months before that I just left the rubber mouth tip off after the first time I popped it out, but with the tank I need a DT to get a bit of extra length.

I'm using v4l coolcarts, since I operate at higher voltage. Many places are now carrying low resistance 808 cartos. Here's boge 2 ohm: New 808D-1 Mega Low Resistance Blank Cartomizers NHaler also carries jumbo 808 LR cartos.

I tend to run about 4 days, 22 - 24 ml of eliquid (yes, I vape 6ml/day, on a VV device) through one, before it's time to clean or toss. My eliquids are relatively light, I might well get less time on a thick/dark liquid. I get this run time with coolcarts, boge, 801 fusions (with a 901/801 adapter -- 901 connector is the same threading as an 808).

Top off early and often, to keep them moist.

For me a big plus was picking up a tank, about a month ago. I use the notcigs M1A1, with 1" tube (for standard length cartos). I use a dremel to slot the carto, then just have to top off the tank a couple times throughout an entire day. This keeps it simple, the carto is always kept moist. Still only run 3 - 4 days between changeouts, but it makes life easy :) (You can also buy pre-slotted cartos, but either punching or slotting is pretty fast. There's a downside to many tanks, that some liquids like hot cinnamon, sour apple, certain banana flavors, may cause early failures, but the liquid I vape all day has been no problem).

Just to add Robblundberg sir, dt's also add the benefit of better aiflow due to the larger opening of the hole. This can lead to better th and vapor production potential.

As long as you don't burn the carto you can get anyhere between 3-24 refills before they need to be tossed or cleaned. The variance is based on what kind of juice you're using. A higher pg or a very light juice won't clog up the filler or leave as much residue on the coil as a high vg or a dark juice. All things to keep in mind sir.
