Hi, everyone. I am having an issue with filling cartos that is driving me seriously nuts. I don't know what I am doing wrong...
I am using auto batts (a kit from Cigeasy, and a couple of spares from other vendors). I bought several packs of cartos from a few vendors, including two from Cigeasy, just to be on the safe side - both Gold Label (with wire visible), and others (without the wire), and I made sure that every carto I got was supposed to work with my batts according to the vendors.
OK. So I got a pack of godawful Marlboro cartos with my original kit. Those worked just fine. I refilled one of them with something (lost track which juice that was), and that worked too.
But when I fill my own blank cartos, every juice I try burns and/or doesn't taste like anything. I was told that I am not filling them enough. I use the condom method. I watched the videos very carefully. I fill slowly, letting the juice soak in. I started filling them to the point where juice starts dripping out the hole, so I have to blow it out a bit and dab with a paper towel. And still it burns. I let them sit overnight. Still no difference.
The only juices I got to work was Mango from VaporBomb and Herb Garden from Velvet Vapors. Both are very thin juices - but many of the others I was trying were not exactly thick either...
Problem is, I don't like fruit juice. I like tobacco - full-bodied, pipey, sweetish tobacco. I tried Liberty Flights (D'Doff), Velvet Vapors, Gourmet Vapor, Ecopure and Vapor God. Several small bottles from each. I spent a lot of money on juice at this point. It takes a considerable amount of juice to fill each carto, and it's all wasted, by and large. I just can't afford to do this anymore, and I am reaching a level of frustration where I am reaching for analogs.
And, btw, I am having the same issue with my 510 cartos, so it's gotta be either me, or the juice I'm choosing...
I do drip on my 510 (eGo) and I've had some limited success with 510 fluxes, but I really need to be able to hold my PV like a cig right now. I've been trying to vape off and on for 4 years, and the only thing that really satisfies that "hand" feel for me is the auto. My smoking habit is over 30 years old, and you don't get rid of such ingrained ritual quickly...
I don't want to go back to analogs... Right now I'm stuck with that same godawful marlboro cartos that came with the kit.
Maybe someone can point me to a pipey sweetish juice that works for you in your cartos, so that I know for sure it's not the juice, and I can try that?
