Hello everybody! I've been lurking for a few weeks now, I have to say this is one of the best forum communities I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Here's my situation:

Got a Blu starter kit as somewhat of a gift a week ago, and it just doesn't work for what I want. Batteries last 30-40 min and the pack and USB charger are totally wonky and only WORK about 50% of the time. Because of all this I end up smoking 2-3 analogues a day (which isn't too bad considering I was smoking 15-18 a day before)but I just can't deal with the constant switching of batteries and the Blu is pretty much out of the question if I'm out and about.

I've been lurking non stop this week and I've learned a lot, but I'd love any suggestions anyone is willing to offer.
I'm thinking about the Riva 510 from Liberty Flights but I'll gladly entertain anyone's pointers. The Riva is about the size and battery life I'm looking for I think. I just need some suggestions for methods of vaporizing.

I think I want some drip tips for taste testing, but from there I'm a little confused. Do I want some kind of tank for all day vaping or atomizers? That's the part I'm having the hardest time understanding. I see the Riva comes with some atties and I'm assuming they're junk? Can anyone help me figure out what I'd need with my battery for vaping?

I'm trying to learn! And there's a lot here! Sorry for the novice questions!

Liquid xpress sells some empty cartimizers that are about 2.0 ohm that will probly work really good with that batterie, you get five of them in the pack and you can put what ever kind of juice you want in them. Once you have a juice that suits you you can fill up a couple of them and of you go, just make sure you keep the filler inside the cart moist so they dont get that burnt taste, they are actually pretty good and thats what I used for along time after I started vaping. You simply have to tilt the cartimizer to its side at an angle and just drip a few drops at a time untill it is filled. If your only smoking a few anologs aday, a full cartimizer will probubly last you for a long time, if you notice the vapor or flavor starting to deteriorate simply just top of the cartimizer again, if you keep these cartimizers moist they will last you for along time, its all a learning process but after a little while you'll get the hang of it and its really much more enjoyable than a regular anolog. Good Luck I hope this helps you:evil:

The Riva is a nice pv. I have a riva and like it. If they have the cartomizer kit in stock, I'd get that one.

You have several choices with ego style batteries.

Riva, 650 battery, 3.7v
KGO 1100 mah battery 3.7
epower, 3.7v , inexpensive replaceable batteries.
Echo, echo-e, 4.2v, 1300 mah battery

All of the above are in the $45-$55 price range. All are great pvs.

I'd first try cartomizers and fill them yourself. Once your confident doing that you can purchase the tank mod. All will work with the above. My personal favorite is the 1.7 cartomizer at Crystal Clear Vaping or the 2.0 LR boge cartomizer.

an eGo or the Riva 510 is good for u.
Driptips for taste testing is a method we call dripping. It involves dripping a few drops of juice directly on the atty itself. Meaning to say that u drip 3 drops and last say 5-6puffs. U will not want dripping for all day vape for the hassle.
SO~ u will need a cartomiser or a tank system for when u r out. Boge Sr carto has received some good reputation so u might wanna try them out. i'm personally on the CE2 clearos which i love but don't recommend unless you don't mind fiddling with it.
Cartomisers are basically atty and cartridges combined into 1. I believe the one u r looking at is the lite bundle? the 5 carts will be the one u drip juice into then plugged into the atty for vaping. i started out with those kind but got pretty sick of having to drip juice into cartridges pretty fast as i'm quite a chain vaper so i got cartomisers and no sooner i'm onto tanks. Basically cartridges are little containers that are filled with polyfibres to hold the juices in (kinda like sponges which i think u already know from ur blu)
So get the cartos bundle instead if u r going with riva 510. then u can always buy atty separately for dripping.

I like the idea of having prefilled cartos in the KGO kit, in case I totally fail at doing this at least I can get SOME vapor haha.

How is Hoosier's shipping? Is their eliquid any good? Keep in mind I'm not very picky! Lol. I was also considering virgin vapor.

I've never had their juice but it's been my experience that most prefilled carts/cartos are downright nasty.

You are better off to get some empty cartomizers and fill them yourself. It really is easy to do and they do taste better.

You also get a pretty good deal with Andrew at CCV. It comes with the complete epower kit, plus 1.7 cartomizers, plus a free bottle of juice. The epower is like an ego but it uses inexpensive replaceable batteries.

I really have had no bad experiences with the ego batteries though. Except for a couple I got at Mad Vapes, most lasted 5-6 months at least.

I've never used the KGO or epower. At the moment my favorite batteries are the 4.2 volt echo-e batteries. One battery lasts me over a day.

I know it's tempting to try to get everthing in one place, but you're really better off to get your juice from a juice vendor.

A lot of people use 80pg/20 but it is really personal preference. It's one of those things you need to try to see what works best for you. Some find PG harsh, but VG tends to clog cartos faster. Somewhere in-between is good.

I know the juice I like now, so I don't experiment with a bunch of different juices like I used to. One of my juices in nhalers 100pg. That lasts forever in a carto. My other juices are from Vapor Bomb 80pg/20vg- they can last a week each in a carto.

I'd get a couple boxes. Do you have any idea what type of juice you like?
