Hello, I purchased 30ml of the BMV Smooth flavor premixed by them. I absolutely loved this flavor and figured i could save money by mixing it myself.

Stupid me- i finished the entire bottle before my new order came with with the smooth flavoring but i just mixed my own and it does not look the same as the original bottle i got.

The original bottle i received looked similar to what the actual DIY flavoring looks like in color!

Unfortunately im a bit sick so my taste is a little off right now.

In this photo, from left to right: Old smooth bottle with about 2 drops left at the bottom, smooth DIY flavoring, and the mix i just created.

The original color from BMV looked exactly like the new DIY flavoring bottle i received today.

I mixed 2ML of the flavoring (20%) in a 10ML mix and its very light in color.

Did i do something wrong?

As Plumber said, color will darken with time. Also, other things will create color. Flavorings can do it, some PGs over other PGs. Color is pretty much a non-issue most of the time. You might even see a rose color sometimes. From a chemistry point of view, it is of negligible significance, and does not reflect a significant loss of potency. People get nervous about coloration, but its really not a problem.

Just thought id follow up on this situation:

I ordered 2 180ML bottles from BMV - one with 16mg and one with 0mg nic. The 16nic is much darker. I didnt add much nic to my own mix so that must be the issue. I also dont know why, but the flavor comes out better in the 16mg... must be some tricks hidden up their sleeves
