HELP.... my passthrough!!!!

Drew.. anyone... my passthrough stopped working this morning... 8-o
Does anyone know how to disect or revive? I tried to wiggle the cord but nothing... waaaaaah I miss it terribly! Any help would be appreciated! Lori B

My 510 passthrough stopped working yesterday. I thought it was gonzo. I took the battery out, put it back in and it's working fine again.

What model do you have?

From the pictures on nhaler.com, doesn't look like the kr808 passthrough has an in-line battery. Never had one of those passthroughs, but those types usually go out because the wire breaks at the led end of the passthrough or juice got into the switch. If juice got into it, sometimes sucking on it really hard until the light turns on might get it going again, otherwise, probably not much you can do without opening it up

In the title of her post she states she has a KR808.

Don't feel too bad, my 901 passthrough lasted 1 week. Was fun while it lasted!

well I disected that type of passthrough:
There is no battary and it isn't easy to take apart I cut the tube... i was curious
NO LED EITHER

now if you are mechanical you could put it in a vise (carefully) and try to pull the connector (pressure fitted) end off where your cart screws to.

If you do that you will see a tiny tiny circuit board that you can rip out and put the usb cable straight to the connector.....

With that being said.. you might be better off buying a new one if you are not comfortable with modding

I do love to tinker but I am the type that show me once and I will remember forever.. but if I read it, my imagination takes over and I over think it and mess it up!!

Yeah, that little circuit board does important stuff - it's not there for looks. Things might start frying - like the USB port on your computer
