So I currently own some Sony US18650VTC3 1600mAh 30A batteries. Well I just came across some new SONY US18650VTC4 2100mAh 30A IMR 18650 Batteries. The amp rating is still the same, but since the mah rating is higher, does that mean the battery will actually last longer? I primarily do sub ohm vaping in my mechanical mods, and hate having to swap out batteries every 2 hours or so. Does anyone here know if the 500 mAh increase will help in my situation, allowing me to continue vaping for an extended period of time, more so than I am able to now with the batteries I currently own? Thanks in advance for any help!

In a perfect scenario 500mah more would give you half an hour more but in practical use I don't think you'll see a difference , most batteries mah ratings are over estimated anyway .

Theoretically if a 1600mah battery is lasting you 2 hours, you are using 800mah per hour so an extra 500mah should last you an extra 37.5 minutes (500/800=.625 x 60=37.5). That's if the batteries are rated under the same conditions and you are using it in the same device with the same power consumption (amp x voltage).
