Hello! I am very new to vaping & I need some help. I had discovered when I got my setup that I had bought the tfv4 which is a sub ohm tank. Only to find out that my mod (cuboid 150w) is a regulated box mod. I want to know if I am safe to use this until my new non sub ohm tank arrives.

I have the triple coil in my tfv4 & I'm running the mod at 40W with .22 ohms, 2.97V & 13.3- 14.7A. I have the INR18650-25R by Samsung. I just want to know if I am safe to use this.

Those 2 items should work well together. And your battery choice is spot on.

I can't speak about what your optimal wattage range is for that particular tank/ohm for flavor and vapor production. It's possible that you aren't using ENOUGH power. But why wouldn't you want to sub-ohm??

The only thing I would suggest is that you don't chain vape 12 mg nicotine when sub-ohming. I made that mistake and spent a day being sick as hell. I am now down to 3 mg/ml in my tank and that allows me to chain vape nicely.

I love it. This tfv4 just drinks the juice. & yes I am quitting smoking. It's been a week & I feel great & I don't smell like ciggs anymore. It's great.

Perfectly fine as long as you don't go too low on the resistance and stress the batteries

Ah yes the TFV4! Actually vaping one right now with the octo-clapton coil in it! Vaping at 90w .15 ohms & on my third tank since I got home from work at 3:30 pst! This tank IMHO has the best premade coils in vaping! I liked the triple, dual-clapton. &the sextuple but this octo-clapton is just awesome! I would recommend the dual -claptons for you since you are new to vaping! As far as nic level goes that 12 would kill me with this tank! I vape a 6mg & still get all dizzy & fuzzy eyed if I chain vape too hard! This tank is just awesome! Your 150w Cuboid is a perfect match for this tank because even with the monster octo-claptons I only do about 125w before it starts burning my tongue! Your rig is safe for sub-ohming & good on ya for being concerned about safety! Welcome to ECF! VAPE ON & PROSPER!

Welcome, as others have said nothing wrong with that combination but that tank will go through lots of juice and 12mg is high for sub-ohming. I'd think you'd want to go higher than 40w though with the triple coil setup.

Hi and welcome. +1 to everybody. Your gear is well suited for each other, and you have a good battery. You are perfectly safe with that set up and you should get some fine cloud from it. I will suggest you might want a lower nic level for subohming. 12mg is pretty tall for that. Most people like between 3-6mg.
