Considering that you are going on a trip and won't be able to buy more gear, i'm going to recommend buying a good deal of cartomizers(cartos), not cartridges. The cartos have built in atomizers so you don't have to worry about burning out your atty. Trust me, I popped my first atty in less than 2 weeks.

Oh, and by the way, I was able to quit cigs after 4 days of vaping. So, once you start, stick with it, it's worth it.

well, ya all did good!!,, got my order in, went with mad vipes, that 510 mega kit deal, and all the goodies you all suggested. a few e-liquids, the car pass through, carts and Cartomizers, ... think that will give me a good starting set up. looking forward to the switchover... I know the wife is!! I really appreciate all your help this evening. could not have pulled it off with out ya gang!! Thanks again, Bob...

Please, keep us posted. We all love to hear about success stories, and there are plenty here to go around. I personally want to hear how your smoke free trip works out. Just stick through the first couple of days as they can be a little rough. If you think you are suffering from side effects it is most likely due to quitting cigs and not from your 510. I came down from the additives in cigs after a few days and never had the symptoms again.
