I want to add the non nic PG/VG and I guess the base pg/VG as well

This is what the calc is putting out:
Nicotine 55.16mg 32.73%-1.636ml
PG 30%- 1.50ml
VG 16.77%-.839ml
Peanut Butter 4% - .20ml
English Toffeee 6%- .30ml
Cotton Candy 2%- .10ml
Saline .5%- .025ml
Sweetener 1% - .050ml
Marshmallow 2% - .10ml
ObaOba 3% - .150ml
Vanilla Swirl 2% - .10ml

What Hoosier is saying I believe is that if you don't add the Nic or 1.64mg of PG or VG (not sure what your Nic is based in) it will throw your flavoring percentages off because 1.64ml (33%) will be missing from your mix.

Cotton candy is the same thing as EM as a heads up. I'm not sure I'd add Cotton Candy, Marshmallow, and Sweetener. I'd probably try it without the Cotton Candy first but it's your call. Just a suggestion. Good Luck!

Cheers,
Steve

Right, so long as you replace this amount, 1.64ml, with some non-nic PG and/or VG, your flavoring %'s will be correct.

If you don't replace it then you only have 3.36ml total volume so 0.1ml of Vanilla swirl will be 3% of the mix instead of two like you inputted. (as an example)

Ok...so my nic base is 1.636ml/2 for equal amounts of pg/vg since my base is 50/50, so add these amounts as well as the non nic amounts. If I like it then how much nic base do I add?

If you add additional volume to an existing batch, your flavoring percentages go down. (% of total volume)

So, if you like it, make another batch with a higher target nicotine strength and mix the non-nic experiment with the higher strength new batch.

If you want 6mg/ml nicotine as your target and you have 4ml of your non-nic test batch left, then make a new batch of 4ml with 12mg/ml
and mix them together and you will have 8ml of 6mg/ml.

Or dump the experiment and make a new batch at the nic level you want...or give it away to another vaper.

Ok I get it now! Off to the lab I go. Report back later. Thanks fellow Hoosier! By the way, is it cold enough for ya? Geeez!

I have a new rabbit fur hat that is making this weather much more bearable.

And I grew a beard for a costume thing a number of weeks ago, and we got that first cold snap just as I was thinking of shaving it off. So I kept the chin insulation too.

Except for my fingertips and toes, I'm faring fairly well. My garage door remote doesn't like the cold though so I get to get out into it even more.

I think you have your peanut butters mixed up. I have used TFA peanut butter alone and it was fine. Not exactly the PB I was hoping for but it will work. Cap PB is the one with the burnt taste at any percentage. It is not a stand alone and must be mixed with other flavors is what I have been told. I have not tried it yet though.

Good luck OP with your mix.

I've been known to be wrong before and it could be I mixed them up. But the flavor percentages I gave are a good starting point for those flavors.

Thanks Danny. So I'm guessing the EM and CC are kinda working against each other? The tank I am using is a brand new MT3 with a factory coil so I'm sure the coil may be toast. I wrap my own coils at 1.8 ohm but I guess I was lazy and didn't swap them out before trying.
As far as the toffee goes, that is what I feel it is lacking, ya know, that creamy toffee yummy taste with a slight bit more of a hint of PB

If your not going to re-coil it at least rinse it off dry burn it and change the upper wick.

We don't ever "need" Vape Wizard. It's a blend of chemicals that alter the action of our taste buds - and cause liquids to 'seem' different than they are. To each his own, of course...but we prefer to alter our liquids - not the action of our taste buds! We checked with TFA directly, and their 'Smooth' has the same chemical-actions as the Vape Wizard (and Magic Mask).

That's correct to a point. Vape wizard I have found works better with multi tobacco blends. It helps blend the taste of a prodominent tobacco taste with the other tobaccos.

Don't get me wrong VW has been used with other non tobacco flavors but it's primary use is in tobacco.

After mixing these amounts for 5 ml( non-nic, but added the pg/vg that was to be in the nic base) I took out 2ml and tasted. After tasting I decided to up the ET by .5%, sweetenter by 1%, took out the CC, up the ObaOba by .5% and added 1% Vanilla Custard(CAP).
Nicotine 55.16mg 32.73%-1.636ml
PG 30%- 1.50ml
VG 16.77%-.839ml
Peanut Butter 4% - .20ml
English Toffeee 6%- .30ml
Cotton Candy 2%- .10ml
Saline .5%- .025ml
Sweetener 1% - .050ml
Marshmallow 2% - .10ml
ObaOba 3% - .150ml
Vanilla Swirl 2% - .10ml

Made another 3ml batch with nic and adjusted flavors and added it to the first 3ml non nic batch. I know that I mixed the new batch with adjusted flavors with the first batch with original flavors is gonna have some bearing on the taste but being so minimal I dont think it will make that much difference (we'll see). Dont taste burnt any more but still lacking that creamy English Toffee taste, but it dont taste half bad. I understand that this is gonna have to set for some time in order for the flavors to come together. I did give it a couple hot water baths and shook the heck out of it as well. Report back later.

Okay... been 4 days and it's starting to taste a little better however it's still lacking that creamy toffee yum yum. So i am going to make another sample and up the ET by1/2% to 7% and up the Sweet Cream another 1/2% to 1.5%.and I think that will do it. Or does one think I should wait a few more days to change anything?
