Hi, i want to quit smoking and ive bought the blu starter kit.. its really great.. but its just not enough, i find myself smoking them with regular cigarettes. I smoke about 1-2 packs a day, now i smoke a half a pack or a bit more.. which is great! but im still smoking. I wanted to get one of the real vaporizers.. but i don't know where to start. I found this website The Best Electronic Cigarette Buying Guide 2013 And the e-go section of it looks like something i would want. I don't know where i would look or order one, some help with that would be great. Do they need maintenance? How do i refill them? and do i have to replace some things over time, I want something that is easy but dont want to sacrifice the amount of vapor. Is there something where u can fill it up.. and let it go all day? Because i see talk about dripping or like dropping the liquid onto something. I kinda want something i could fill and charge in the morning and have it all day to smoke. I dont know what to search for to get advice on this.. some links or some help would be great.

You need two "e-cigarettes," a primary and a backup. That includes the battery, as well as the liquid delivery device. I also recommend you get at least two USB chargers, not only a primary and a backup, but one for work, one for home.

Kanger EVOD Starter Kit comes with spare 2.5Ω (light vape) heads.

You can get 2.2Ω (medium vape) and 1.8Ω (hot vape) heads here.

You can get a spare charger here.

How much you vape will determine what size tank and how much battery capacity you need for "all day." For a fill and charge it the night before, all day vape, I use a REO Grand with 6 ml bottle and 2000 mAH 18650 battery.

Hi and welcome to ECF. Yes the eGo class is a good entry point into vaping.
You have 2 battery choices:
a set voltage of 3.7 volts (about $40.00 for a starter kit)
or
a variable voltage battery that fires from 3.3 to 4.8 volts (about $70.00 for a starter kit)
Both the above kits include 2 batteries and clearomizers/ juice holders.
Clearomizer- a plastic, glass or metal tank with a wick and element. Contains NO stuffing. The rebuildable clearos come with heads (coil+ wick) that can be cheaply and easily replaced. When the head burns out simply unscrew the old head out and screw new head into existing tank- takes 10 secs- very economical.
Many prefer the glass clearomizers as some "acidic" juices will destroy some plastic tanks. To fill them simply unscrew the top or bottom, squeeze juice in and vape- it's as easy as that. You can also maintain the heads (coil+ wick) by washing and dry burning it- extends the life of the head.

Edit: If buying a set voltage PV Starter Kit the link Nicoholic gave is an excellent well priced package made by a very reputable company

+1 for the starter kits, though what I did when I first started was bought a 1000mah Ego-c Twist as a home battery, and bought a 400mah Ego Mini for being out and about. A little bit of some juice that looked good, and a Kanger T3, and a Kanger T4 slim. That's really all that is needed to get started. Oh, and of course an Ego charger. As the above poster said, if you get two chargers you won't regret it. I need to order one soon!

If you want a glass clearomizer, the Kanger Mini ProTank 2 "glassomizer" (clearomizer) holds about the same amount of liquid as the plastic tanked EVOD clearomizers in the kit above and uses the same heads as the EVOD clearomizers. So does the full size ProTank 2, which holds about a ml more but is larger in diameter and comes with a "beauty ring" skirt for use on the smaller batteries. Having two or three kinds of clearomizers that all take the same heads makes things more convenient.

I like three chargers; one at work, one at home, and one in my computer bag. Also make sure your vehicle has a USB port, even if you have to buy one of those cigarette lighter adapters. It'll come in handy in a power outage as well. NEVER, EVER, leave a battery charging in a hot vehicle!

IMO - for starter kit I went with Joyetech eGo-C 1000mah batteries, and the Vision mini Vivi Nova. Very dependable, lots of battery power, no leaking, very portable and the more spares (of everything) the better. That way you don't get caught out and have a hardware failure that drives you back to smoking. The Kanger Mini ProTank 2 "glassomizer" is also a top notch choice as well.

The eGo C upgrade battery 1000mah is a great choice to try either regulated or unregulated modes as well. My :2c:

Best of luck, you can do this!

I have two of the genuine Joyetech 650 mAH USB pass-throughs in stainless steel, with original mini ProTanks on them. They look like a surgical instrument, a stainless ink pen, or a tire pressure gauge. The Joyetech pass-throughs are 4.0V both on and off the USB, and the voltage declines from there like a mechanical mod. Battery University says cycle life doubles for every 0.1V below 4.2V max charge, so they should last a good while. I use them with 1.8Ω Kanger heads and they are hot and powerful at 4.0V, moderating a bit around 3.7V. A single one of them was lasting me for about two mini ProTanks full. They come with a nice, long (1 meter ?) USB cable and are handy to use plugged in when driving as well as at your computer.

If you are willing to kick it up a notch, in price, performance, and length, a variable voltage eGo style battery lets you set the voltage, not only to adjust the performance (to a higher level as well), but to match whatever resistance heads you are using. It's typically about an inch longer than a non-adjustable due to the circuitry inside. Since users tend to run them hotter, I recommend getting a couple hundred milliamp-hours larger than you would a non-adjustable model to get the same charge life.

The Joyetech eGo-C Twist and the Vision Spinner are two examples. The MyVapor Store Combo Kit lets you pick the pieces, and has been highly recommended on ECF.
