I just received the XL CE-2 R4 Cartos and I am sooooo confused. I do not have a syringe, however they did come with a tip. Can I fill them with the condom method? I tried to fill them through the threaded end like I have before with the regular cartos, but after only puting about 5 drops in it started dripping out the other end. Is there an easier way to do this with out the syringe???

Thanks:oops:

You'll pretty much need a syringe to fill them. I don't recommend removing the silicone insert which has the two holes for filling with the syringe because you may possibly damage the cartomizer & render it useless. Get a syringe, connect that syringe tip & insert into hole & fill it that way. I speak from experience with damaging a few of those cartomizers with removing that silicone insert. That syringe tip you have is also flimsy. It's a pain getting into those holes. I'm on the market myself with getting something the same diameter but stiff. Until I get a stiffy, I'm just using the drip method on regular atomizers for now.

I just got some CE2's today and I'm really liking them so far. You do need a syringe and the tip will fit on it. It takes some patience to fill them because I'm using 50/50 juice, but I think they're worth it. The flavor is clean and the vapor is warm and out of this world!

You can probably go to the Wal-Mart pharmacy and get a syringe, so don't give up on them yet!

If you are really in a need to use these..if you cant wait to get a syringe, you can take off the 1st ring(very easy) with a tooth pick or anything that you can stick in the center hole and pry it out. Next you must get a tiny screwdriver or a fork and pry up the next plastic ring..it can be hard to get out. Once you get both rings out you can just hold the carto at an angle and drip juice down the side. I don't really suggest to do this unless you don't have anymore cartos to use. Only because it can be difficult if you don't do it carefully. I do it all the time now cuz it is so much easier than a syringe, but I have a lot of practice :) Wait to get the syringe if you can but if you need it just be carefull and take out both plastic rings and drip down the side. I put the 2nd ring (the top one) back on and vape away..good luck..

Thanks to all of you for your quick response and help. I was so excited to use them, so I guess I will have to wait until I get a syringe. :(
Texas star... are you talking about the ring with the 2 holes ( to take out)?

I hope I didnt ruin this one... I did remove the soft end and the next ring inside (not the one with the holes). I also tried to fill it through the threads.
Do I need to do a dry burn before I add liquid to these?
Thanks again for all the help.

shstarose, I'm sorry for not explaining better. Yes you have to take out the plastic ring with the 2 small holes. It is hard to get out. Maybe you should wait to get a syringe. I don't want you to ruin your carto. It is a bit tricky. I don't know how to put pics up..but if you look under the ce2 carto posts I bet somebody has some pics and explains how to do this better. I found out how to do this because I filled one (with the syringe) with the most awful tasting juice and didn't want to puff through all the nasty flavor. I couldn't get that awful juice out with the syringe so I took off the first ring then the second (with the 2 small fill holes) washed out the nasty juice under running hot water and refilled it by dripping down the side. I didn't put back on the ring (with the filler holes) just the other one. I use a drip tip so I toss out the little white disc too.

Thanks texas...
I figured it out!!! Last night as I was laying in bed (I do some of my best thinking there) I remembered that when my puppy was sick last year, they had given me one of them baby syringes for medicine for her. So being me I jumped out of bed to see if it would work and by golly it did.

So thank you for all your help. Every day I learn something new on here, everyone here is so wonderful.
Oh by the way these cartos are amazing!!!!
