Help plz! I'm new to TC.

I have a 75w istick Pico and I'm not getting quite what I want with VW and kanthal.

So, I am ordering my SS316L so I can try TC.

How best to start with TC? How do I decide what temperature to start with / to use?

It all depends on the build and tank you're planning to use. What rta? Single or dual coil? What and how do you normally vape? All that stuff would be really helpful to be able to give you informed answers.

Thank you Eskie. I'm using the MELO 3 Mini. I vape moderately throughout the day. I ordered the ECL 0.3 SS316L coils. I like as much flavor as I can get (cloud chucking secondary).

Start at 400°F and work your way up from there until you reach the vapour production and flavour you like. I pretty much keep the temperature at 220°C (420°F) all the time, adjusting watts to suit my tanks and builds. Over 480°F (or even 450) and you might get mild dry hits, but if you like atop warmer vape you might want to go over 500°F anyway. Watts set so that you'll hit the temperature protect message (it's not a warning) within a second or two.

As Ken said, start around 400F and slowly increase it until you're happy with the flavor and cloud. Good luck!

Ha ha... I'm late to this party!

The other thing I keep in mind about TC is that the Watts will ramp you to temperature but then back off once you hit. So, what I finally figured out is that TC is going to be a CONSISTENT vape.
