Well, not currently, but if I put it back together it will. Had this unit for almost a year, (Got it at StL Vapefest), and I've done all the regular maint. on it. Woke up this morning and went to change the batteries to new ones I just got in the mail yesterday. Bought two sets and used one yesterday all day with no problems. Put the other new fresh batteries in today and after about 2 seconds, I could barely hold the v3 without burning myself. Tried both of my old sets of batteries and they do the same thing. I have changed/cleaned/swapped every part and battery. What did I do wrong? This isn't a complicated machine here.

sounds like it's a short caused either by over-tightening the atty (fairly common with 510s), or from the spring in the base not being seated properly and touching the side of the tube. check the silicone grommet on the underside of the atty and make sure it's seated in place properly compared to your other attys, and of course make sure the spring is seated nice and snug in the bottom without the potential to touch the body of the mod.
