Okay, my confirmation email was not in my spam, so I started thinking maybe I made some kind of mistake on my email address or something. So I signed it again, and made sure this time.

Well, I still have no confirmation email and it has been over 30 minutes.
I don't either set of my comments on the petition either.

When I submitted the comments, both times I was taken to a page that said my email address had been confirmed, so somewhere I think something went wrong.

OK DC2, let's see if someone can help.

Can someone please copy the email they got from the petition and post it here, so we can see the subject line & email address the confirmation comes from?

That way, maybe DC2 can do a search/filter of the emails and add the email address to the contacts, to the email gets through.

DC2, who is your email provider?

Here are the addresses properly formatted to be mailed. Hopefully this will save people some time. The addresses on the petition are not the same way that one would write them on an envelope. Just copy and paste to your work processor program and print.

When snail-mailing, don't forget to sign!

AOL, but I don't think that's it.
I've never seen them block email, only move it to the spam folder.

The only explanation at this point seems to be that I am extremely lame or something.
But I made SURE the second time that everything was kosher before I clicked submit.

I'm wondering if my first submission was rejected because I said some not nice things.
And then the second one was rejected because my email address had already submitted.

DC2, AOL sometimes just blocks things for the heck of it and the user never even knows it - I would have been willing to bet $100 you had AOL because of your issue.

Try adding the info@epetition.net to your AOL contacts OR sign up for a free gmail/yahoo account and use that to do the petition.

Your comments can't be moderated by anyone by me - it's my petition. And I assure you that I'm not moderating anyone!!
