Help, something really strange is happening

My girlfriend and I have the following components between us:

- 2x Riva 1100 batteries
- 1x 1000 twist
- 1x Colourful Ego battery

- 1x Mini Nova
- 1x Standard resistance Vision Ego clearomiser

We use the two Riva 1100 batteries as backups. Something really strange is happening though. When she uses her ego clearo with the colourful battery everything is fine. As soon as she wants to swap the battery for either of the Rivas, they don't work. If I however try the rivas with my mini nova they work fine! When she puts them together nothing happens at all...the coil isn't heated...no vapor...like it's totally dead. The strange thing is those batteries worked fine with that clearo before...they even came in the same kit!

Any ideas?

It's possible you need to pull the center positive post as it's not making contact to the device.

The only vid I could find real quick-hope it helps. Lift gently and try the connection again.

Yep post pulling should take care of it. Just wiggle it up a little and with very little force. Some devices just push the positive contact in more than others.

Wow that worked perfectly! I guess my mini nova pushed it down further than the ego clearo could use.

Just dont crank the clearo all the way down. If you lookat the bottom of your attomizer peices you can see the one that has the middle (positive) extending down farther than the others, just tighten that one till you meet resistance.

One word of Caution:

NEVER PUSH THE POWER BUTTON WHILE TRYING TO LIFT THE CENTER POLE.

If you do, you could Release the Magic Smoke and your Battery will get a One Way Ticket to the Great Charger in the Sky!

If you do, you could Release the Magic Smoke and your Battery will get a One Way Ticket to the Great Charger in the Sky!

Just to add: If your battery has the " turn off" feature( five clicks or whatever it may be), turn it off before lifting the center post. That'll make it impossible to have an accident.
