Help! Spinner wont charge.

Got a 1300 Spinner a few weeks ago and was working fine until today, now it wont hold a charge. The red light turns on when I plug it in but even after waiting 2 hours, it still dies right away after taking it off charge.

So tempted to go back to analogs, nowhere near the ....ing hassle this is.

If it is fully discharged it takes about 4 hours to charge it to max try that then I would return it to where ya got it

What a load of crap because I've been charging it all damn day..

Back to buying a pack of Newports I guess.

Does your battery charge by the 510 connection that your tank screws on? If so, the center positive post may have gotten pushed down so the charger can not make contact. If so, take a small screw driver, etc and carefully work the pin up just a little on the battery. Do pull it too much or you can break the wire on it.
The pin can get pushed down from over tightening a tank or using a tank that the center post is too long, thus pushing the center post down in battery.

What was suggested is a common method used to address a common problem.
Could be the 510 connection and or the charger surface needs to be cleaned, rubbing alcohol on a q tip works well.

could it be a bad charger? I have/had my spinner for a while and it worked great and I never had that problem =\ except now mine doesn't fire at all, I think it took a small fall when I got out of my car, but yeah I'd return it from wherever you got it and/or make sure your charger is good

Why not? That center pin is just a piece of metal being suspended by a rubber grommet. Chances are, that is the problem, and it takes all of 2 seconds to jimmy back up with a toothpick or a paper clip.

Now nothing lights up, guessing the battery is RIP'd. This sucks, guess I had a nice run with vaping while it lasted.

Few weeks..should still be under warranty, take it back and get a replacement

Check the listing he MIGHT have a replacement warranty. I broke my first ego 2 weeks after I got it. It happens and you learn to be more careful. I understand wanting to go back to smoking but really get another and then a backup. The hassle of dealing with vaping is nowhere close to the hassle of death from lung cancer or emphysema. Just sayin.

This is one reason why I stay way from the sealed battery types...you don't know what quality the battery is inside the unit...the replaceable rigs (the ones you can pop the battery out and replace if it goes bad) seem to have better longevity

FIrst take a deep breath. Most of us have been where you are right now. Gear broken Jonesing bad and nothing to vape.

If as you say you cannot return it to the guy on eBay then you have nothing to lose by trying to pull the pin on the connector slightly. It might work.

If that does not work I would be inclined to believe you have been sold a bad unit to begin with. THe problem is on eBay eCigs are banned. Both you and the seller will lose you eBay accounts and your Paypal accounts if you report the seller. There are jerks on eBay who will happily sell you their dead gear knowing you can't touch them and if you do accounts are closed and they screwed you twice. It is why I refuse to do eCig business on eBay.

If you need to smoke until you get setup to vape so be it. Don't beat yourself up for it. Count the ones you don't smoke rather than the ones you do.
