I just got my Ego tank System today. The vapor is great and its so easy. I am having one problem though, I keep getting a burnt plastic taste, I've tried numerous carts too. I've been reading around and it seems a lot of people had this problem and fixed it. I am wondering if someone can explain whats wrong. I've already blew my atty to get the primer out too. PLEASE HELP. thanks.

The taste you are getting is most likely the primer in the atomizer.
Take the atomizer and put a paper towel under the threaded end and blow through the open end. This will dump a lot of the primer onto the paper towel. Do it a couple of times. Take a q-tip and gently wipe the walls of the atomizer down to remove any primer in there. Loosen the threads of the q-tip just a bit so you can get down around the piercing spike in the atomizer. Drip one or two drops of your e-liquid into the atomizer and allow it to absorb in the atomizer.
Pierce the tank by putting it on the atomizer and pushing down and remove the tank and fill with a syringe. Removing the cap to fill over and over will weaken the cap and cause premature leaking. Filling through the hole with a syringe is best for longevity.
Fill the tank and place back in the atomizer.
Lining the atomizer grooves with the washer could be beneficial. Not sure as of yet. See if it makes for a better draw for your personal taste.
Hope this helps.

same thing happened with mine. I was really scared especially after all the positive posts about it. I blew it out really well before the first use. I had the same burnt plastic taste you are talking about. And worse the pull was hard with not much vapor. Went back to it a day later. blew out the atty again and there it was. All the vapor and taste i was hoping for. Maybe there was primer still in there somewhere im not sure. That bad taste sill comes back from time to time. Usually just a blow out of the atty fixes this problem.

I've also read not to use 100% VG, I usually only vape Johnson's Creek Red Oak and thats 100% VG. :(

Actually it depends alot on whether you are having leaking problems, or dry hits. I personally (and alot of others) use only VG in our tanks. I used PG and it leaked like a sieve, so each experience is different. If you use the VG and get a lot of "dry" hits, there is a mod you can do that is quick and easy to help with that. If you use PG and it leaks, use VG (0-3% dilution, not counting flavor).

I had the same thing happen. Try this (from Vicki @ Cignot), it seems to have worked for me.

It is not wicking down as fast as you are vaping... try drawing on the ecig without activating the battery and allow it time for liquid to get down there... also, leaving an air bubble in the tank helps it wick better... These are sensitive to the viscosity of your juice and there is no standard for that :-(
