And if you don't like DL (direct lung) hits with lots of vapor there is a MTL (mouth to lung) 0.7 ohm coil from eleaf and also some other brand (don't remember the name) but then you need to have 2-3 times more nicotine. MTL is more the same feeling as smoking cigarettes.

From the manual of pico 75w.
Read from page 5 and you see that M1-3 is TCR values and have nothing to do with memory of different tanks, it's just a more advanced part of TC vaping.

Sorry, thinking of my Alien. Alien has M completely separate from TCR and TC.

I've got the Pico 75 watts, I haven't used it in ages but it was great when I first got it, first setup I was able to get some flavor out of. I got it when it first came out and I used it with a nickel coil in the temp mode, it had a melo tank. I just got a Pico 25 for use with the 25 mm tanks, lots of changes in the menu.

Will need to order .5coils and I'll Will def try those when I can.
I find my tank get super hot quick, maybe reefing on it too often lol!
Rightnow I'm around 40watts with the .3coil still. Anyone have a suggested temp say between 35 and 55.
40 seems ok, the vapour comes out instantly compared to lower settings where I suck on it for 5,6 seconds and get a small pitiful cloud which sucks for me. I just want to be satisfied with my vape!

Definitely. I've tried a different tip and liked it but my tank gets very hot after a couple puffs
Mostly normal i get that one too from my big baby but mainly when i chain vape.
Remember in wattage mode you keep "injecting" (for a lack of better words) that same wattage non stop when you vape it so coil gets more and more hot until you let go the fire button. Also using a smaller drip tip probably means less air into the coil since less surface to erm,... suck on ? (sorry i had to :p)
And on your previous post i'm assuming that by temp you actually mean wattage which is all subjective,no one will like the same settings and it's mostly up to you to find the right tank+coils+airflow+wattage for different juices.
Overall just keep your wattage between what's written on the coil mess around with it and you'll eventually find a setting you like more (if you can't find that sweetspot might be looking at getting something better for you) i've been sub 0hming since my 2nd month and it's feels 100x more satisfying to me,but it's not for everyone.

A smaller bore drip tip helps cool the vapor down by constricting the amount of aerosol vapor as it leaves the tank and enters the mouth. It's kind of like how compressed air feels cooler. The smaller the passage, the more air and vapor move through and the lower the temperature. A plastic, ceramic or some other non-metallic tip keeps from conducting heat from the tank to your lips.

@Kaili, Did you get the Pico kit with the Melo tank? If so, it came with a 0.50 ohm coil in the box. Dig around in your packing materials and see. It will make for a cooler temp vape than your 0.30 coil at any wattage.

I love the Pico--I have three, with two more on the way.

Odd.... When i use a smaller drip tip on my baby beast vapor is quite hotter than when i use the included wide bore.....Oh well xD smaller still feels better imo

I think it's the other way around.

A smaller drip tip will compress the air and make it hotter it will also make it taste more, but you may also have other issues if you have to much restricted drip tip/air flow control (afc) depending on your setup. If it's to narrow and you run to much wattage it may not be enough air to cool down the coil and it may be problems with dryhits.

It's also the same the other way around, to much air and to little wattage and the coil fill be over saturated and you will get a weak vape and maybe spitback/gurgling.

Ofc you can always change those a little bit like going from wide bore to normal bore. Just don't only change one thing to the extreme [emoji3].

I like doing the wide bore with the airflow closed a bit. Has just enough heat for me with a very satisfying vape :p

I have to say I like the temp mode, I started using nickel coils on a Kanger and the Eleaf Pico and always used the temp mode but was unable to get SS coils that worked in them. The Smok I now have is able to use SS coils in temp mode which is nice because you heat them to clean them. I just changed the settings on the Smok, felt like I was inhaling to much air so lowered the temp and increased the preheat, now I get the flavor without all that air.
The newer Pico 25 also works good with SS coils and is used in temp mode.

I'm curious : is the flavor in SS coils better than Kanthal ? In fact which wire has the best flavor 0.0
