Help: Vape set up

Howdy, I'm quite new to vaping and could use some direction.

I have enclosed some information which may help you answer your question. Just a side note, sometimes a flavor like toffee can be elusive/tasteless no matter what setting you use. Some folks can taste toffee and some folks can't , no matter what they vape it in, mix it with, or who's brand etc.etc.. Might want to try/vape a known (tasted on another atty) good tasting flavor mix on you new equipment.

Toffee was one of my favorites but I decided to stay with tobacco flavors. Kanthal when I first started could only be used in wattage mode and I never used it. I started with nickel coils in temp mode and had vaporizers the wouldn't accept stainless coils, so I stuck with the nickel coils. The stainless coils were able to be used in newer vaporizers which I now use. I like them because you burn them to clean them then rewick.
There is a bit going on in the temp mode and more people are using it, I've seen wire with stainless steel and Kanthal being used together and Nichrome being used for temp mode.

Will need to order .5coils and I'll Will def try those when I can.
I find my tank get super hot quick, maybe reefing on it too often lol!
Rightnow I'm around 40watts with the .3coil still. Anyone have a suggested temp say between 35 and 55.
40 seems ok, the vapour comes out instantly compared to lower settings where I suck on it for 5,6 seconds and get a small pitiful cloud which sucks for me. I just want to be satisfied with my vape!

I got the 1.8 ohm coils for my Pico.
At 20 watts I get great taste and flavor.

I started out with the melo III tank and pico and the way I vaped it got hot on me too. It's now in the drawer of things that didn't work out.

How do you want to vape? Big clouds or more like a cigarette?
