I agree on the Endura especially if the OP wants to keep vaping in the same style she has been without any fuss :) This is the unit I got for my friend instead of the istick 30 kits and she loves it, it has gotten great reviews and the price is low enough to pick up a few of these kits and spare coils for less than the cost of a lot of other kits mentioned here.

When you say coils, do you mean just screwing on a new atty or something more complicated?

Yes that is what I mean, just screwing on a new atty (replacement coil) the same as you do now with the vivi novas.

there is a good full review of it at the bottom of that product page.

I've been hearing about these for years. I'm not opposed to spending some money on a setup that'll meet my needs for a long time to come, but if there's that much to read about them they're probably not for me.

I just want to vape so I don't smoke. I'm not interested in it becoming a time consuming hobby.

Edited to add: This was a response to the posts about Provaris.

This is the set up I have been recommending too, istick 30 watt and either the mini nautilus or one of the gs air tanks but I found the istick 30 has suddenly become almost impossible to find. Last month I was trying to locate a few for a friend and came up empty, I am wondering if they are phasing it out with all of the new releases.
I don't know if they are fazing it out or whether suppliers are choosing to stock some of the higher wattage iSticks (with temp control). Next time you are looking for an iStick 30 watt check Sweet Vapes. They usually have them in stock (as well as the whole line of GS Air tanks).

Here's the Safe Vaping Power chart. Ohm's down the left side, track horizontal from the left to find the safe vaping zone, in light green, and find the voltage setting at the top. Google "safe vaping power chart" to find yourself a larger image

Find yourself some AW IMR batteries. Best and safest batteries for a low powered tube mod.

If you are going to use a tube mod where you only require up to about 15 watts or less then the AW IMR batteries will be perfect. If you are going to use a tube mod which can is adjusted with + or - watts then the volts will be calculated automatically by the device (This type of device is referred to as a "VW" device (Variable Watts).

If for example you want to use a Provari v2.5 then it can be adjusted with volts + or -. This type of device is referred to as a VV device (Variable Voltage). Voltages are always low, unlike watts. The provari v2.5's highest voltage setting is 6v. At this moment in time i'm only using 4.7 v on a 2.1 ohm coil.

The Safe Vaping Power chart is a good guide to use. If you are going to use good quality reliable batteries like the AW IMR's and are going to use a low powered tube mod then the Power Chart is a perfect reference. The worst thing that could happen if you set the power too high is your scorch the wicking material in your coil and over heat the juice (Dry Hit).

For Christmas 2014 I gave a brother of mine an iStick 20, a Nautilus mini, a spare pack of coils and a bottle of e liquid. He buys mail order e liquid in 120 ml bottles, replaces the coil once a month and vapes 2 ml's a day at about 7 watts. The cost for him to vape for a year, about $200. There may be better mods and tanks for that style of vaping but those two work fine. My brother doesn't want to change a thing and I can't argue.

What are mini and cuboid? What tank performs well that I can just pour juice into and go?

This is the text that scared me off btw:

"This Kit is for ADVANCED users only. This e-juice delivery device is more complex than mini or mid-sized set-ups. They require research time to setup and knowledge of how to operate and interpret a multi-meter. You will also need to be familiar with the relationship of resistance and voltage as well what type of batteries and battery charger to use with this device.

*This device comes with Temperature Control Coils. Please be sure to only use TC coils in TC mode on your device. NEVER fire a TC coil in Watts Mode"

I don't know what it means, but it's intimidating as heII.

The warnings are for the use of coils being used that are to low of ohms for the battery to keep up with, I honestly don't think you need to worry about being in that situation for a while. For your simple needs it's as easy as a disposable stick but utilize superior 2000mah 18650 battery's that will last you day's.

So can someone please point me in the direction of a good but simple new setup?

Thanks in advance!

I'm feeling overwhelmed just from this thread. I'm not sure if it's cuz of that or because I crush on Darrell from the Walking Dead - but if you add a specific battery to that tank and replacement atty recommendation, I'm going to order it and call it done.

Well, and maybe the Innoka Endaura or iStick.

Yeah ... feeling decisive.

If you want to keep it simple, get an istick 30w and a Aspire nautilus mini. It's a very basic setup, one of the most recommended for beginners. No extra batteries, coils are premade etc...

It's slightly above what you were previously using.

Great, now I feel like I made a mistake on my purchase. :(
Bonnie, I will get an answer for you since that guy who made the "unregulated" remark hasn't seen fit to answer you. And I'm not qualified to say he's wrong. Those folks that I tagged in the other post will probably show up eventually but in the meantime I'll ask in their thread. May be someone else available to answer. These guys know their ZMax, they've been tearing down and rebuilding them for years.

The Sigelei, and Smok ZMax are Regulated Mods, Bonnie , there are way too many choices today in vaping , it can be daunting even if you've been in it 6+ years as I have. My local Vape shop friend Rob( good prophets in ephrata PA) is using an ijust2, I think it's around $25 delivered on line , add some juice ( I make my own but I've tried Verde valley vapes lately and they are affordable and very decent )and a spare box of coils and you're good to go. It's a great Vape and uncomplicated....... After that if you want more than that offers it goes downhill from there:)......please don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions

Sorry Bonnie, Foggy just informed me you picked up a Z at vaporrange ( great shop) its an excellent and safe regulated mod , you'll need a tank like a nautilus/ nautilus mini that's not sub ohm .....sub ohm tanks/ heads will not work on the Z , but that's not a problem, just pick up a nautilus at 1.5 ohm s ( I'm not sure of the choices in ohms ) and you'll be good to go.

Okay, I was just getting mixed reviews on the iStick.

I'm not opposed to swappable batteries but, yeah, I'm not building my own coils or anything like that.

Thanks. So this big, scary red warnings are like blowing an atty as a worst case scenario?

If I go with a Pravari v2.5 and some AW IMR batteries (I have no idea what that means, but I imagine they say they are AW IMR in the listings) what tank would you recommend? Remember, I'm looking for highest quality possible with lowest possible maintenance. (ie: I'm not threading wicks or wrapping coils myself.)
