I think we should put on our dusters and have a "show down" at high noon in Concord on main street. 20 paces apart, squinty eyes, beads of sweat. staring, waiting for the first move. In a flash we draw our Reos and blow clouds at each other.

I think I do have to get out more.

Name the time, pardner. I'll be there!

And besides, you'd be getting out more :)

Just wanted to post a small update. Got a little bit of sleep this morning. Going to make myself eat something soon. Ordered some H1N1 and some WTA as suggested. Take a couple of days to get here but what can I do. Got through the night with no analogs, thanks to you all. Feeling somewhat better but got a ways to go.

I'll post more as things develop. I can't thank you all enough for your empathy, suggestions, making me laugh, letting me know I'm not alone. It means more than I can express in words.

Thank you!

Way to go Black6, I'm holding strong here too.

Just know that someone not far from you is getting strength knowing we are in this together. We're gonna get through this!

Edit: don't want you to think I am in any way trying to make you think what you are going through isn't paramount, it is. Wasn't trying to detract in any way, my apologies. Just wanted to let you know you aren't alone as I know sometimes it helps me to feel that way.

Bigfly, anybody that needs help can post all they want in this thread. I'm not worried about thread jacking or anything like that. What I want is for the people that need help to get help. And if they can get it with me, well all the better!

I'm glad to hear you're holding on. It's worth it. I've had my moments, now is one for sure, but the day I got my eGo kit in the mail I stopped analogs. Don't want to go back. Ever. Hang with me!

Hi All,

I share a bit about myself here, and am comfortable doing it. You're such a great crew. Lately I've been going through some depression (a life long, treated problem) and I want an analog so bad.

I know that's not going to solve my problems, maybe a med change will but not likely as I've been on them all.

So I guess I'm just reaching out here for some encouragement. Maybe others have been in my shoes. There is such a stigma regarding mental health it's hard to talk about. But someone here is bound to say something that will help me out.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if you've tried it yet, but I would recommend getting a good naturally extracted tobacco. My Vape Juice has a huge selection of cigar and pipe extracts. There is a good list of vendors here, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ussion/519685-natural-tobaccos-part-deux.html

Nets are what got me through the hump. Last night I was really hurting for a pack of American Spirits Perique. I grabbed a net and pretty soon the feeling passed.

Stay strong man. Depression can make us consider doing things we would never want to do.

And if yer not careful we'll get a batch of dem Reonuts to get together and drive, fly, hop and hitchhike up to Concord and have one of dem dar interventions right smack dab in the middle of yer domicile. I gotta bolieve thats not sumpin you want happening enny time soon.

Yer forewarned.

I may just buy a pack of cigs to get sum of u great folks to come intervene on me, sounds like a great time! Of course I would break down and give in immediately and we would all go down to the beach, grow some roots in the sand and vape ourselves silly:)

black6, hope today went well and you are feeling better.

Hang in there bro. But in case you fall off the wagon, I wish, I just wish that you're experience is like mine and like others. I've been off the analogs for 6 months now but always curious to try one again since I've been told that I'll never like it. Well, took a trip to vegas and found a good excuse to light one up. TWO PUFFS AND VAPING GOT VALIDATED. Curiosity gone and staying away from analogs got affirmed. I can't go back even if I wanted to. It just tastes bad!

Hang in there and keep dropping by. That's another good thing here at reoville, SOMEBODY is ALWAYS HOME!

Hey Black6, how ya doin' buddy? Hope you're hanging in there, been thinking about and sending positive vibes!

Thanks Bigfly, I had planned on updating the thread today, now that I have my WTA and H1N1 in hand (or should I say bottles :) ). I'm doing ok, cravings are under control, emotionally getting there as well.

How are you doing? Things ease up a bit? Hope so.

And once again, to all that helped me that night. My appreciation and gratitude cannot be expressed enough. What you all gave me, I will give back. To you, or another who needs it. Rock on Reoville!!!!!!

That's good news, Black6host! If it helps, the cravings get weaker and weaker all the time. I smoked for over 40 years, and I honestly thought I'd NEVER be able to quit, and now you couldn't Pay me to start back on cigs. Yuk! I've been vaping for almost 4 years now, and it's the only way to go. I haven't had any cravings in YEARS now. Early on I had a cig or two -- or I should say I TRIED to.....and they were nasty. Nasty. One day when you're feeling really strong, you might just take a puff or two. That might be all it takes to show you what you're NOT missing.

Thanks JC. It's funny, those that I know that used to smoke, but don't vape, still crave them after years. Most vapers I'm reading, never want them again. Deciding to try this, back in January, was a good move. I won't say it hasn't been hard. I think that it has been is pretty evident :) But I've held on.

Getting my new juices today have helped a lot as well. I was pretty stuck on one liquid, tried a few others but just didn't see the appeal. What I got today is different. I think I'm going to rotate a bit for a while between my main, the WTA and the H1N1. So far the new ones did exactly what the folks who suggested them said they would. I've got enough WTA (3 flavored, 1 unflavored) that I can keep those for emergencies, or add a bit to what it is I'm vaping at the moment. It's good to have on hand, I wish I had it the other night. But now I do if it happens again.

I want to say to someone like me, four years from now, what you've just said to me. That's my goal. And I know I'll help people along the way as I move towards that point in time.

Take care!

I don't own a reo but i can say that those cravings can get in the way can't they? I just know that they were a couple days a week for me in the beginning and now a couple days a month now. They do lesson but i understand how they can make you miserable when then are hitting you.

I was considering getting a Reo because i thought it might take care of these couple times a month cravings. But i guess they don't. Just know that cravings do lesson over time.

Isn't it strange how we don't want to smoke and we love vaping but when those cravings hit we are so easily wanting a cig? Get angry with those cravings because smoking is truly what you don't want.

Im so glad Fleet! Getting all of the right tools in place is the hardest part, but I think you are pretty set now. You have the Reo, the emergency juice, batteries, wick, wire...should be easier sailing now!

Im so glad to hear that it helped you! I know the WTA and the "right" flavors in general really helped get my head back in the right spot.

Keep us posted :)

Hey Fleet, really glad to hear you're doing OK! I'm still fighting the good fight, shot a PM to Kent to see about some H1N1 for myself or whatever WTA / NET juice might help and waiting to hear back.

Something has to give, this is starting to drive me a bit bonkers.

Hang in there my man, very happy to read your update.

The WTA I had to get elsewhere. Whole-Tobacco-Alkaloids-WTA-Nicotine-Nornicotine-Anabasine-Anatabine WTA e-Liquid Bulk WTA e-Liquid. Surprisingly good service. If you call and talk to Andrew tell 'em Fleet sent ya :) They have a lot of flavors with WTA and pricing was good. If you called them, ordered today, you might get it Sat.

Even if the flavors weren't great (not saying they're not) it wouldn't matter. It's the WTA I wanted. Try it if you can. It's good to have an arsenal of things in your toolkit.

Take care, and don't forget you can always PM me. Anyone in this thread can. :)
