I think the level of ease in making the switch to vaping is not as dependent on willpower as it is a matter of finding what you LOVE. I got lucky in that the first hardware I tried turned out to be my favorite. It didn't stop me from trying others out of curiosity, so I can totally see how the different experience can make or break this. There is a hard trail of information to navigate when choosing vaping equipment and juices-not to mention the cost of trial and error. If I had tried a disposable first or didn't have a flavor I REALLY enjoyed I wouldn't have made it through the first day, much less the long run.
It is not a failure unless you stop getting up after a fall.
If you can afford it....maybe try something else. Watch some video reviews of other equipment so you can get a better picture of what to expect from each. What you want it to look like, how much vapor you get, how involved the process is of getting ready to vape it, how long the batteries last, portability, etc are all big factors that contribute to whether this is a miserable experience or a pleasant one. Talk to some veterans here about exactly what you want and what you don't like about what you're using and get some recommendations.
Most importantly, just hang in there! Don't put alot of pressure on yourself to be perfect. Quitting smoking is hard, period.
