so im gonna buy 2 of the 510's, one for me and one for my bf. what all do i need to buy with it? im starting to think its gonna cost just as much to do this ecig because you have to replace the atomizers and batteries and ecig juice? also, how is the ecig juice diff and how do you do it? right now im using cartridges and i dont like it too much because it runs out so quick. :\ we like alot of vapor, please someone guide me in the correct direction so i make a smart purchase and quit cigs for real :p

I didn't order any additional eliquid when I bought mine because I didn't know if I was going to like it. I ran out before my next delivery arrived. Luckily I ran across another vaper who gave me the things he had he didn't like......had to vape licorice and sasparilla until my order arrived but I made it through....I recommend getting at least 30 ml of a menthol eliquid as a backup supply right away....then explore different flavors with small bottles....

my pack a day habit comes to about 5ml a week and my family tells me I vape a lot (doesn't seem that way to me)....

I would also recommend getting a bottle of the highest strength like 36 and a bottle of 0 in the same flavor....then just thin it down to whatever you are comfortable with...that would be especially good if both of you like the same flavor but different strengths......

ok thanks alot carthead...also when looking at the 510 i see they use cartridges? do you refill those with the liquids??
Yes you can refill the cartridges with e-liquid.

The initial cost of a 510 pv can be a bit overwelming, but well worth it. I would suggest purchasing at least 2 spare atomizers and 2 spare batteries each and a bottle of 30ml with your starter kits. You will have to replace attys, batts and carts (see cart filler mods) over time. My husband was a 1-2 pack a day smoker. He vapes 15-30ml a week and goes through 1 atty every 3-4 weeks on average. He used to go through at least 3 batteries a day. We both now use a battery mod (Silver Bullet) so our battery lasts us between 1-2 days and we each carry a bottle of liquid with us.

Sorry, the site was so busy I had to type it twice.8-o

Make sure to read up on the differences between drawing on a cig and a pv or you'll cough your head off the first time. You'll also want to blow out new attys so you don't get a primer hit. Actually, you need to do quite a bit of reading while you're waiting for your supplies to arrive. It will make your first experience with Personal Vaporizers much more enjoyable.:D

well if i order 2 of the starter kits from cignot that would be about 70 bucks, plus i guess i need 4 more atomizers and 4 more batteries (2 for each of us) thats about another 100, plus the eliquids, so im assuming i need to have about 200 for us both to start off right? :) someone correct me if im wrong. also, right now im vaping on 8mg of menthol, i dont know when to stop vaping because it doesnt burn out, how many puffs would you say i need to take to have a normal analog and what would you reccommend as far as nicotine level? i smoke about a pack a day

yea i think i have figured out how to hit it. at first i was coughing like crazy, but now i can control it. i have been reading this board non-stop for the past 3 days (when i bought my first e-cig) i bought the fifty-one duo which was 120 for just the cig and 5 refills. WHAT A RIPOFF!! everyone seems so happy with the 510, so im going to try and take this one back today and just manage to try and smoke lightly until my 510 arrives

B, for background please read the wonderful world of vaping in the ECF library section. All 6 parts. It will answer most of your questions and probably give you more answers than the posts here will.

It is long, but very well written and very informative.

Basically, on a 510, the cart holds fill, juice, and is the mouth piece. The atty does the vapor production work and connects the battery to the cart.

Get some juice, small, large, whatever. Do not let your atty run dry and keep your batteries charged. Those are the bare basics. The rest will come with more reading and experience.

If you want to get plenty of supplies to last you for a while I would suggest geting 4 of the no box kits from cignot. It's a better price than buying the parts separately. Then you will have a total of 8 batts, 8 attys and 4 packs of carts. You will have 4 chargers too which is nice to have sometimes. When ever I want extra parts I just buy the kit.

510 a good choice for throat hit and vapor production, As you smoke menthol I think you will be pleasantly surprised by how similar the experience is to analogs (Menthol anyway). I am in the UK but can purchase a 510 kit with three batts/attys for UK £44.99 about 72 US$ so shop around. But without doubt by some menthol juice to top up yours carts. In my experience I would go for two levels of nicotine high/low so have choice.

i had to smoke a regular analog a while ago :(
Don't feel bad about that. Many on this forum still smoke occasionally in addition to vaping. I wonder if you might need a higher nicotine level for the throat hit you're looking for. Or maybe just a better quality liquid. I'd recommend one, but I mix my own. I started at 18mg/ml. I'm now down to 10mg/ml.

im so confused on what all to order for both of us. i realized i like vaping all day long so i want something that is going to satisfy my cravings :D

You're both going to need at least 2 510 batts. If you get one kit from Cignot, consider getting 2 mega batts from Totally Wicked or heaven gifts.

OR if you haven't ordered yet, you might check out the Tornado from Totally Wicked. The battery lasts 6+ hours. You could get one kit, then buy two extra batteries - but make sure you get 2 usb quick chargers for them, and another 'cone'. That would be the cheapest way to get Tornado's for two without getting 2 kits. And you could get the 2 extra batteries in a different color than the kit - cone too of course:

black kit:
Wicked-TORNADO E-NI or Electronic Nicotine Inhalator Black.

extra batt - platinum? white?

TORNADO E-NI- Manual Battery

cone... uh oh... black and platinum are sold out. You actually don't need a cone for the ecig to work. So you could wait until they get these in unless you're good with white.
TORNADO-Battery/Atomizer Cover CONE.

Quick charger - again, get 2.
TORNADO-Mega Powered USB Charger

In case you go with the mega batts instead:
510 TITAN Electronic Cigarette-Mega Power Manual Batteries

There's a discount code here:

Of course, get some ejuice - don't rely on prefilled cartridges.
