I've been vaping since mid-March, and what I can tell you is to avoid automatic batteries, at least if you are outside. My first kit was a blucig, and like you, I was fooled by their professional looking site design. The product itself wasnt terrible, but their cartomizers are a bit pricey, and automatic batteries always went off when I had my car window down. They can be very sensitive to sound vibration and wind.
Now, a PCC is a good choice, as you can charge batteries on the go, store a few cartomizers in there, and basically have a good case to carry everything in. It looks like a cigarette pack, too.
I just don't want to go back to a cig-shaped ecig, because I am in love with the Megalodon from electronicstix. It just performs better than a mini, with the obvious drawback (but not for me) of drawing attention. My brother even said it looked like I was inhaling from a permanent marker! You know, those big metal ones? Also there was a certain friends wife who asked me why I was holding a knife so close to my face!!! HAHAHA it was dimly lit room of course, but I can still appreciate the desire to have a normal looking vape.
