Hey guys!

I've been having a few problems recently, but first of all... hello! I have atm an emow kit (ego threaded) and the battery has died (tried all the fixes... won't charge!) So will be avoiding kanger batteries tbh!

Back on the smokes atm and want to get a new battery to get my custards again really!

Ok... i am pretty broke atm, and was considering an mvp 2.0, or an istick 30w, now i have an EMOW tank ego thread and have read of some problems with ego tanks not registering on some batteries so wanted to ask for help!

So i was considering an istick mini 10w (but read it didnt have a spring connection so some ego tanks wont fire? - i could be wrong!) that is £20 over here in the uk, but i was also considering an istick 30w - would this fire a emow/ego tank ok? or an mvp 2.0. (also read the mvp 20w wont fire mow tanks - which i was abit gutted about!) also looked at the innokin clk but seems very close to ego type batteries (Which im wary of since this on failing!)

I've had to look on ebay due to them offering me a £10 voucher and being broke would help alot, but a bit worried with warranty etc!

Anyways, what batt would you guys suggest that would fire a ego mow tank (1.8ohm)

Thanks for any replies, and/or suggestions!

:)

hello abstracted and welcome to the forum. The 30W iStick will fire sub ohm tanks and is a nice unit. I would recommend finding the extra 10 or 15 dollars and buying the iStick 50W, the 4400 mah battery is worth the difference. With a 510 to eGo adapter the ego threaded tanks will still work ($5). I use the iStick with my Nautilus Mini's and love it.

This pic has the 510 to eGo adapter on the iStick 50W.

Good luck.

Hey Sir2fyablyNutz, Puff2k and BrandonR!

A 50w isitck would be nice but is well out of my price range atm (only have about £20 or so i can pay, with a £10 voucher i have that runs out today) The mvp3 does look good but the cheapest i've seen it for is around the £45/50 range.

I'd have to order through ebay to use the voucher, didn't really want to buy from ebay but with the money off i could get a mvp for £20 or the istick30 for about £25. The main thing that concerns me with ebay is the warranty of 2 weeks or so.

Yea, the ego batt i had just randomly died so didnt really want to spend £15/20 on something that might fail after only a month or 2! (knowing my luck!)

The mvp 20w i was looking at, but read about the mow tank not firing on it (although i'd love to be wrong ofc!)

I didn't realise some tanks/batts have issues (with things like not having the spring loaded pins etc) and really can't afford a tank afterwards tbh

I've seen a couple of good feedback ebay deals but still undecided on what to do, but have realised i badly need one as im smoking much more now.

Thanks for all of your replies so far though! Got about 20 tabs open on ebay deals atm lol :p

My iStick 30 is fine. I'm not using the same kind of tank you have, but it has been working fine and the wattage control is very easy to do on it. It would be a good choice. I just prefer the MVP 20w for some reason. The MVP 2 might not hold up very long but I'm not sure. I think someone who has had one for several months is having trouble with hers recently. I doubt the battery died but it's not firing or something. I like the recessed 510 connector on the MVP 20w and the iStick 30w. Battery is a little better on my MVP 20w but they are relatively comparable.

Edit to add: whatever gets you off the stinkies is going to be a good purchase. The iStick 30 works just fine in that regard! Good luck!!!

Love my iStick 50w. Cost me $50. Eciggity has them and just got an email that vapor authority has them back in stock. Have used my iStick 50w for four days and nights non stop and *just* put in charger because it had one tick left. Easy to use and works well. I am running an Atlantis .5 coil. I second the vote for the istick. :) But as Puff2K said... anything that works, works. :) Good luck hun. (I wouldn't go with eBay. The little you save from the voucher, will not pay what you miss out on from warranty. )
