Ok, so I want to try this recipe I found, but am wondering how to translate the percentages. I know she is not using that much!

40% Glycerine
40% Totally Wicked 36mg Chocolate (unflavored will work)
10% Lorann’s Chocolate
10% Lorann’s Bavarian Creme

And can I just buy TFA flavors?

Also, I wanna buy a really good cream from TFA, like say I want to make a Strawberry Cream cake or what not. Any suggestions?

For the flavors depends how strong you like it. I think I read 20% is a good level, Basically, just add the % to each flavor. I usually do the one I want strongest @ 20% and work my way down. The additive enhancers like sweet , sour or ice etc I do like 2%. You don't have to add up to 100%. Hope that made sense, I'm new at this too !

I'll try part of this, the deciphering the recipe part. It looks like it's 40% VG. The other 40% figure has to be 36mg/ml Nic. The part that's throwing me is the Chocolate part and then saying unflavored is ok. Ive never heard of Chocolate Nic. I'm guessing the person was using PG based Nic so with the additional 20% of flavoring it looks like a total of 60% PG 40% VG with 14.4 mg/ml Nic. Now if the Nic was in VG, it would be 20% PG 80% VG. Sort of confusing to say the least.

The second part is just my personal taste. My favorite TFA Cream is Vanilla Swirl. Not a straight cream, it's a vanilla mixed with cream. I really like it.

Honesty, when I make others recipes, I only look at the flavoring percentages. I make them in my desired PG/VG ratio and the same with my desired Nic strength. Only you know what you like. In my opinion, that's what DIY is all about. The ability to have juice the way YOU like it. Hope that helps!

Cheers,
Steve

Do you put your figures on a mixing calculator? It helps me. I use the eJuiceMeUp calculator and the one that has a lot of information and explained alot to me is
DIY E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors Plus PG/VG Adjusting

Good luck to you and have fun with it. :) There are so many DIY threads that have some great info too.

+1 on Vanilla Swirl as a cream. Bavarian Cream and Vanilla Swirl are my favorite "creamers".

From what I can tell, maybe they used a 36mg Chocolate flavored ejuice from Totaly Wicked.

I much prefer flavors from TFA over Lorean, but taste is subjective. It looks like you have a good list going there to make many good mixes, I would recommend always using a DIY calculator, as stated above, and taking notes of all your experiments and mixes.

Have fun and start small, look up a recipe or two and try that out, then twik them to your liking or venture out and make your own mix! It is fun and very rewarding when you have that Eureka moment!

A simple recipe that I think is pretty good is Pineapple at 10%.

I looked at your list and I'd recommend a couple of extra flavors if/when you order again. Caramel, Dragon fruit, raspberry sweet, and if you like a sweet tobacco RY4 Double. I don't really get much tobacco taste, more of a caramel, vanilla, with a hint of tobacco.

Cheers,
Steve

As you also posted in another thread those are all TFA flavors and are not the best selection there are health risks assoicated with acetyl pyrazine, diacetyl, acetoine.
