Help with Box mod Constructions?! Please

Hey please help me with the Box mod Build; firstly I should state I am very new like baby new to becoming a hobbyist. So below is my schematics for the build I am building. I am using 2x 14500 in parallel.

And also I have a rocker switches instead of the normal on off switch. Do is their a way to make that work properly, when I hook it up before is it continually ignited ,without push button being push( Maybe do to leads from rocker to push button?)

Question!!? Should or do I have to have regulators, or anything along those lines even if I am running batteries in paralell?
(I had an issue the first time I set this up I fired but no matter what would constantly make a connections before I pushed the button for the ignition of my ecig.

Does your rocker switch have an LED?


If the coil is firing when you flip the rocker to on, then you have somehow bypasses the pushbutton.

Maybe this will help, even tho I just used one battery in this one.

Wire runs from bat + terminal to post 1 of on/off switch. Wire runs from terminal 3 of on/off switch to terminal 1 of push button. Wire runs from terminal 3 of push button to + terminal of atty connector. Ground wire runs from - treminal of battery to ground side of atty connector.

DO NOT ground that center post of the on/off switch!

Yes It does have led, and when hooked up the battery gets hot! I think it's How i am router the positive from rocker straight to push button?

Yes you have to have a regulator unless you want to run at 7.4 volts (more like 8.4 freshly off the charger). I suppose you could run a very high resistance atty. But I can't see the point. Try running a single 14500 or putting in a regulator.

what type of regulator would you suggest for 2 14500?

I would suggest to stay away from regulators until you get this simple circuit working and do some more reading/learning on electronics. Not trying to be an ..., but if this one is giving you trouble then regulators are certainly over your head.


Your schematic is correct, something in the execution is off. Double/Triple check your work and remember that you are potentially playing with little bombs.
