Hello All!!!

Been smoke free for about three weeks now come this Friday.

Well any who, I have a Ego Twist that I got from a local shop that came with a clear tank, has two metal end caps with O-rings, and a metal tube that will slide in and out of the tank, I have no clue what the brand or make is of this tank/carto setup. Well after about a week to two weeks, I now have a tight draw and juice will come in to my mouth. I have been using Pink Spots Outlaw 555 and RY8.

Can anyone recommend a carto/tank system that works well with a voltage range of 4.8 to 3.8 and will not succumb to thick tobacco juices so easily?

Thanks for the help and hope everyone has a good night.

Sounds like you may have an ego t tank system. Google this to see if this is what you have, if it is, you will find replacement cartridges and atomizers for this system!
eGo-T Tank Cartridge
If you like this system, stay with it! If your looking for something different Here is another carto option that is not bad!
http://www.vaporbeast.com/SMOKTECH_Clear_EGO_type_Dual_Coil_Cartomizers_p/c9.htm
Also allot of people like the Ego Vission Stardust tank system.
GotVapes VISION eGo Stardust™ 1.6ml TC Carto 2.5-2.8 ohm Smokey [gv-visionstardust-2.5] - $4.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
Look on You tube for reviews of these set ups to see what suites your needs best! Congradulations on being smoke free! Also talk to your local shop and ask for guidance! If they are good they will help direct you in the right direction!

Also, cartos are only meant to last for a week or so. Atomizers will last longer, but also have a limited life Span! Once you look and study the different systems you will quickly realize what you need to stock at your home!

This could be Dual Coil Tank (DCT), you need to change your cartomizer for it ( this "metal tube that will slide in and out of the tank"). They don't last forever 1 or 2 weeks, it depends on how often you vape and what juice your're using. I'm not in US, so I can't suggest you good websites, but for the time till you get your new cartos you can do a little trick. Slide your tank a little bit up to cover the hole the juice get in and vape a little bit. You'll get rid of this too big amount of juice on your carto, then slide your tank back down. If you want to vape on 4.8 to 3.8 voltage I think 2ohm dual coil or 3ohm single coil cartos will be the best for you. Hope it helps!

Is this what your tank looks like Dual Coil Cartomizer Tank
If so then you need cartomizers that are punched (have holes in them) or buy regular cartos and punch your own holes. Look on youtube for how to punch your own. As far as what size ohm carto you need we need to know which ecig you are using in order to recomend the right size for you. Just based on the ohms range you posted I would go with a 2 or 3ohm dualcoil.

Its def not an Ego carto/tank. Ive read some Cartos only work with certain tanks, I think thats why I am also lost. Same as not understanding what OHM to get for my Ego Twist.

All this is very new...

So I should always keep a supply for Cartos and plenty of juice! I def got the juice, but will need to figure out what cartos are for my tanks.

I don't recommend carto tank systems or dual coil. Carto tank systems leak and dual coil will run your battery down too fast.

If you want a good delivery system, check out the bottom coil Phoenix from gotvapes.com as well as the vivi nova 2.5. Both are incredible. They deliver excellent vapor and don't leak. The vivi nova is completely rebuildable and you never have to buy tanks for it.

There isn't a carto that won't clog unfortunately. Best I would recommend is getting a good supply of Boge 2ohm cartomizers from Welcome to Sure Vapes LLC ! and a phiniac glass tank from Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks. Thick and/or extracted tobacco's clog up everything (both cartos and attys). It's something you'll have to get used to having to do to vape your favorites and that's swap out your carto's or clean your atty's constantly.

Hello!

Thanks for all the help went ahead and went by the local shop.... They charged between 7 - 8 dollars for a cartomizer. Im still not sure which kind they are, they didnt seem to want to give up to much information about... Probably to keep the business in store. I think I am going to buy a few online, I see that I can get them for 2 - 3 dollars vs the 7 - 8 they were charging. Plus gas to drive about 45 min away... I know the juices I like, so I believe I will be buying my vapeing supplies online from now on.
