Hi all,

I have been vaping for a little over 2 weeks now using a carto/tank system. I saw the Vivi Nova 3.5ml v2.5 kit and I am very interested in it. It looks like a more user friendly system then the carto/tank system. I was wondering if anyone could give me some information about their experience with it, how easy is it to maintain, how good is the vape, etc.?

I like that the system offers either a plastic or metal tube, so I can use the metal tube and not worry about juice breaking down my tank. But my question is, if you use the metal tube, how do you know how much juice you have in the tank/when to refill? Also if anyone could direct me to a reputable vendor with the best price on the kit and the replacement wicks, that would be great!! :) Thanks!!

Are these the kind you're interested in?

3.5ml Rebuildable Vivi Nova Tank

If so, I have 4 of them, and they've performed well for me. As in, no leaks. At all. I have a metal 3.5ml Vivi Nova that I got from Cuecig at a pretty decent price, but I haven't gotten around to using it yet. Haven't had any wicking issues with the ones I got from SimplyVapes, either. They're easy to clean, maintain, and use. Good vapor, too. Hope this helps. :vapor:

They are OK. If you just buy the heads at 1st....it's real easy. If you wind your own coils, there's several options and several tanks/RBA styles to choose from in addition to the VN.

It's a love/hate thing. But mostly people that have problems with it are just inexperienced. I can get almost any tank/carto to work. So you'll get all sorts of opinions depending on their experience level.

Some designs are easier to re-coil than others. The V.N. isn't bad...and it's very price-friendly.

I don't generally recommend tanks to e-cig newbies because I think they should get experience with atomizers/cartos 1st so they know what "working well" vs "not working well" is like. Then they can move into fiddly stuff like re-wicking. That said....go for it.

You have to open the top to check on the metal tank.

I got mine from GotVapes

I've been using a standard 2.5 Vivi Nova for a few days now. I was having a leaking issue.

I saw a video on youtube about an extra gasket that is hidden in the tip. Instead of installing it were the video shows, I left it hanging out the bottom of the tip.

It works like a charm now and I don't have to worry about unscrewing the head, when I remove the top of the tank to refill.

I even over filled the tank a little and left it laying on its side all night long. Not one drop leaked out!

Ive used both mini & standard size vivas, they're really good ONLY if you do the 'viva tilt & roll'. You have to keep the wicks wet, and being a top coil will easily burn if not saturated, which is a problem once the tank goes down to half full. Simply tilt it and roll before a vape. The biggest problem users have reported all over this forum is a burnt taste, this method prevents it. Otherwise, expect to be changing heads more often than normal.

Probably the cheapest around is Fasttech, but will take a couple weeks in shipping. I don't know if these are original vivas, theres a few clones, namely Smoktech & aClear. I've used both of these clones with no problems, but be warned that the heads are not compatible with each other.

My vivas have seen no use ever since my kanger protanks came in, something to consider.
